  1. Broadening the search scope fixed my problem. However, I did not setup this computer using the migration assistant so while the bug may be related I'm not sure the cause was the same as listed. Thank you for helping me find a fix. I guess just add this to the list of aberrant behaviors.
  2. I'm having a weird issue where applications are not appearing in my results these applications are all located in /Applications In the attached screenshots, I'm trying to launch the application Clean Email I have reset the Alfred application cache and even added /Applications to the search scope explicitly (even though I shouldn't have to). This is all weird because it's picking up some applications but not others. It looks as though default Mac apps are appearing, as well as those installed manually. However, any applications installed via the AppStore are not included in the results. Version is Alfred 5.0.2 Build 2073 OS is 12.6
  3. Agreed. Or give us a shortcut so we can update without having to use the mouse. I hate my mouse... that's why I use Alfred!
  4. Say I have some text highlighted, what do I need to do to use that text as an argument in my workflow?
  5. I've been mulling over this for some time now. Unfortunately Appigo doesn't support apple scripting, and that's pretty much how I write my scripts. I'd be willing to explore it though if you want. What kind of functionality are you look for?
  6. I'd like to either work with someone or have someone share with me a workflow that can be used to view disk SMART status, sensor readings (like temperature, ambient light, etc), memory/cpu usage, and other realtime statistics. Anyone interested?
  7. I didn't know that! I'm going to have to go try it out immediately!
  8. In Alfred v1, I could type "Action" to perform actions on the currently selected items in finder. In v2, It seems like I can only use a keyboard shortcut to achieve the same. Is there a setting I'm missing?
  9. 10. Thanks for the feedback. I was not aware of how different memory management was in Mac. Good to know!
  11. This does utilize purge... but I think you have to have the command line utilities installed.
  12. You know all those fancy apps you can buy to "free" up used memory? Well I figured out how to create a workflow to do the same thing. The caveat is that you have to have xcode command line utilities installed. But it's pretty neat. This is my first workflow! Feedback is much appreciated! https://www.box.com/s/fp70s1rq1obtsgc6fjod
  13. Is it possible to migrate my usage data to v2? I'm particularly proud of it and it would hurt to lose that... not critical but just wondering if its possible.
