Visual Command Argument Parser

It would be *REALLY* handy to have a visual argument parser in the workflow editor - There are many actions that I use on a daily basis that require me to write scripts to parse command arguments which is a pain in the rear-end...

 

It would be *great* if there was an argument parser object you could drag in, define variables, then link them to their corresponding action, ie:

 

I use a "vpn" keyword to control several VPN clients. It would be great if I didn't have to write an applescript to parse the different vpn types as an argument to then go and launch actions - if I could have an argument parser, then link the arguments to their respective actions visually...
