shankbone
I've read over the docs - and as the title says I simply don't understand what "arguments" are, and what use cases would necessitate using them. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks, Greg Link to comment
deanishe
What do you mean "arguments"? Like, what are you talking about? Command-line programs, Script Filter XML, Post Notification Outputs? Your question can't really be answered without some context. Link to comment
shankbone
Hi, Thanks for the quick reply! I'm referring to this: http://www.backupromg.com/jingv/jingv/2015-10-09_09-19-34.mp4 And this: http://www.backupromg.com/jingv/jingv/2015-10-09_09-21-08.png Cheers, Greg Link to comment
ctwise
An argument is the information typed after a keyword. For example: mysuperspecialkeyword does stuff Your keyword here is 'mysuperspecialkeyword'. Your arguments are 'does stuff'. If you create a keyword that shows weather where you live then it won't take any arguments - you type 'weather' and you're done. If you create a keyword that shows weather for a given zip code, you need arguments, 'weather 11223'. deanishe 1 Link to comment
