I have tested with a jpg from Safari and it worked.

It seems the image, for some reason, caused the error.

Can you please test with another image?

You could also send me the image or link so I can make some tests here.

Thank you again for your feedback.

The Alfred 2 dropbox link is broken. Anybody have this?

I have updated the link.

Here it is: Evernote workflow for Alfred 2

How can i quickly jot down some text to note with current date through the day (appending)?

I found that you can do `enn`, enter text, move to "Type a note", hold Option key - and it says "Append to note with current date". But when i hit enter, it opens second step with searching for note.

You have to select a note to append, that's why the second step. It searches by title.

Hi,

I updated the workflow to 8.992 version. However, what I noticed is not working is Paste to topmost application.

Below is the debugger log:

Starting debug for 'Evernote'
[ERROR: alfred.workflow.action.script] 0:196: execution error: Can’t get text item 2 of "evernote:///view/2147483647/s501/8b5365f4-f53c-4b21-be06-a7b4eeaff87d/8b5365f4-f53c-4b21-be06-a7b4eeaff87d/". (-1728)

Thanks for this amazing and most useful workflow,

M.

Hi,

Anyone else has issues when trying to open note URL, opens in Evernote instead of browser (Evernote 9 beta 2 - alfred 3)?

Hi all,

I'm popping this post as follow-up to a few users who have said that the workflow isn't working for them. Please ensure you're using the correct version of Evernote for the version of Alfred you have installed, as the workflow relies on Evernote storing the data in the correct location to be able to present your results to you. :)

Refer to the first post for a download link and required version details, as @Carlos-Sz updates this as the workflow and Evernote itself evolve.

If you've ensured you're using the correct version, please include in your replies which version of Alfred, which version of Evernote you're using, ensuring that it's Evernote from the website and not from the Mac App Store. This will help the workflow creator out significantly, and might allow me to help you out, as this is a workflow I love too!

I'm using Alfred 3 and Evernote workflow v9b2  Evernote 6.10 When I type enn and a space it doesn't let me type anything else to search.  It just launches Evernote.

The workflow requires Evernote from evernote.com running. Note that it is no compatible with Evernote from Apple Store.

@ae6dx I'm using the same workflow version with the same Evernote version, and it works beautifully. Is there anything unusual about your Mac's setup that could have an impact on this?

Also, are you aware that the "enn" keyword isn't for searching, but for creating a new note? Type "enn" followed by a new note, and Evernote will launch and the new note will be created.

Type "en?" to view the documentation about the workflow, including all the keywords and what they do :)

Cheers,
Vero

@ae6dx And once Evernote has launched, does everything work as expected? I always have Evernote running so I hadn't noticed that it does launch it, but then popping Alfred back up, I can search using "ens" with no problems.

It'll be up to the workflow creator to confirm whether that's intended behaviour, but to date I'd never noticed and don't see a problem with Evernote running in the background :)

Cheers,
Vero
