Reminders

Recommended Posts

I have a problem with this workflow after updatering to El Capitan. Adding a task ('r something') freezez the Reminders App for some minute, after showing that it has added the reminder. Oddly, it also seems to make Reminders unstable after adding a single reminder, to the point where I need to reboot El Capitan in order to get Reminders working smoothly again (!).

As I've written before, this script is a key in my everyday workflow - thank you Jack for all your work with it!

Yeah, I'm having a similar problem. It seems to eventually make the reminder, but Reminders.app seems to really not like the whole thing.

The workflow communicates with Reminders via AppleScript, so Reminders has to be running.

It would be possible to detect if Reminders is not running when the workflow starts, and then quit it again afterwards.

It is actually supposed to do just that, but is clearly not working. I'll take a look.

10.8.5 :).

(As a newbie, that was my last post for today, the limit of 10 posts is over..)

Could you please fill in your Powerpack email address in your forum profile? This will allow me to confirm your Powerpack user status, and I'll be able to lift your 10 posts limit at the same time.

Thanks,

Vero

I released a potential fix for this, see the download link in the first post. Unfortunately I can't test it because I don't have anything with Mac OS 10.8 installed, but do let me know if it works.

The syntax you've used in that example is incorrect. Try "r on 24/01/16 to charge phone"
