1Password alternative action "reveal in 1Password"

1Password integration is already awesome, but it would be even better if we could open the logins in 1Password instead of opening the Webpage.

Like search with "1p my_login". Then have an alternative action to bring up 1Password mini with the same query.

Maybe even extend searches for other items as well, like Favorites, Credit Cards etc.

This script could be feeded with the query

osascript -e 'open location "x-onepassword-helper://search/{query}"'

  • 1 month later...

I would like to do that also. Is it possible?

Assuming 1Password is already unlocked, keystrokes into Alfred might be something like this:

1ps av <return>

-> open 1Password, initiate keyword search for item Avalon

as opposed to current keystroke input:

1p av <return>

—> opens browser window to Avalon; logs in

@BonnieB and @urandom  Take a look at Alfred 3.2, which is currently in pre-release :) Here's an excerpt from the change log:

1Password Integration

  • 1Password integration updated to be compatible with 1Password 6.5+
  • Alfred now shows results from multiple vaults, including 1Password Families / Teams
  • All items are now shown from your 1Password
    • Logins are opened directly in your default browser
    • Other items (such as Secure Notes) are opened in 1Password mini

Cheers,
Vero
