    Weather workflow

I wrote a weather forecaster workflow that displays forecasts from Dark Sky or the Weather Underground. This is actually the second iteration; my first was loosely based on David Ferguson's weather workflow, but written in Python. This version is a complete rewrite in Go. The source, along with installation and setup instructions, is available at it at https://github.com/jason0x43/alfred-weather.The most current release can be found at https://github.com/jason0x43/alfred-weather/releases. Version history: 2016-12-18: 1.0.0 2017-05-03: 1.3.0 2018-11-08: 1.5.0 2020-05-03: 1.6.0

iMessage focus with part of name/handle

Hi guys, i often check my iMessages to see if someone is online. With this workflow you can search for people based on their name / handle (email / telephone / etc) and full name If it's a gtalk users it displays the online status When you enter it focusses the iMessages app, selects the user and you're ready to type a message. todo: the other protocol (bonjour) but let me know if anyone's interested. Let me know what you think of it Download 0.01

Open file action remove clipboard content

Hi, I realized that when I run a workflow with includes an open file action it runs well but after running the workflow the clipboard content is modified and the name of the file is added to it. For example: 1. I copy to clipboard the word "Alfred" 2. I run an Alfred workflow to open in TextEdit a selected file in Finder called "document.txt" 3. The workflow works well and TextEdit open "document" file 4. I paste clipboard's content in TextEdit or any other app and it types "document" instead of "Alfred" The same problem occurs when I use an Applescript to open files. Im using the latest version(2.0.2) Thanks in advance and excuse my limited English

There is now. Update to the latest version and set you browser as “depends” — that’ll use the browser that is you frontmost app, if any, at the time you call PinAdd to add a bookmark. Keep in mind that only the same browsers are supported, and that since from the way this works it’s not possible to interrupt Alfred in case your frontmost app is not a supported browser, you’ll still get the “Operation done” message, but no bookmark will be added.

OmniFocus Task Actions [Updated to 3.1]

_mk_ THANK YOU!!!! As I mentioned, your workflow was the main reason I came to Alfred from the launchbar. Focus on Project and Focus on Folders are 2 important aspects of how I use omnifocus. I sincerely appreciate your adding these features. Again, thank you.

Well I'd use Script Debugger if it wasn't so madly overpriced, so I'm stuck with plain old AppleScript editor. I generally just copy and paste different blocks of code into new scripts when I want to test them. Having created the "rtest" parameter also has proved to be a big help.

    Alfred to Skype Interaction

That's great thank you, exactly what i needed! I will publish a version today that will remedy that problem What you you can do is rename your dad's visible name in skype so it contains "Dad", you should then be able to "s dad", where he should be the first hit. (If not, add "dad" twice, the entries are sorted by the number of characters that are match your query, e.g. if you do "s dad" and the skypename of your dad is daddaddad, it will return 9 as 9 chars have been matched ) After you changed the name, run "s update" to load the namechange into the cache. (Note: What is displayed as name is what the user has set as his full name, only if no fullname is set, the given name (the one you set) is displayed, for searching though, the account name, fullname and given name are used)
