Mainly this was made to learn how alfred workflows work, but someone seemed to want the domain name to ip address functionality so...

thanks all, I will likely implement something like that. I agree whois was a bad choice for a keyword, given that it has other connotations

perhaps I should include a regex that offers better feedback - `ip` is for looking up the numerical ip address of a domain. `whois` is for looking up the server name of a numerical ip address.

hmmm, could you send a screenshot? On my system `ip domainname.com` gives a list of all IP addresses that that domain name resolves to, like so

The MS Office apps are notorious for not playing well with window resizers and for stealing focus etc. But, yes, preview does not work here either.

As soon as I finish typing the keyword (or press enter) it goes away. See below

So I can't actually use the workflow or check to see if it lists favorites...

Any way to make it list all bookmarks within Alfred? I often dont remember what they are called and there is no contextual help once I start typing...

[edit: does not work even if I type correct thing just switches to my default search as soon as I enter an argument]

There's a couple good sublime workflows as well you can go ahead and just use a hotkey to open with sublime and never see alfred at all....

I would love to be able to have different keywords for adding public or private, but something about the way this workflow is structured now makes this impossible (ie even if I switch the private keyword to something like "pp" then both "pp" and "pin" bring up both commands, with public as default) any thoughts? I know it is just pressing the down arrow, but somehow it seems cleaner to me to resolve to private bookmark adding without having to select it in the menu everytime

Right now Dev Doctor Wordpress Codex command just searches on the wordpress site but doesn't display results in Alfred....

Does this update workflows directly (thus a security issue) or does it use Alfred's native processes to pull in the workflows and check for maliciousness?

QuickCal has the best natural language processing and instant feedback of any of the calendar event/reminder adders (IMHO) and had quite good Alfred 1 support. At the moment I just switch to quickcal with a shortcut and enter in things there, which is simple, and really adds no time to my day at all. But for my OCD tendencies, it would be cool to be able to add and get feedback directly in the Alfred window. Anyone want to give it a shot?

Alright, this is now in my favorite workflow list. So simple to use. Will make pinboard about 10x more useful for me.

Just an FYI, If you prefer the iOS simulator to live in your Dock...

Open it via xCode, then when it is open drag it's icon to another part of the dock. Viola, when you close it, the icon will still be there.

I think this is not necessarily appropriate to a workflow...

However, if you are looking for a better way to develop for wordpress, I would offer the following suggestion - Use Beanstalk App and Git. You develop locally, everytime you commit a change you can have it deployed automatically. You still have to set up the database and wp-config file on your remote site of course, at the beginning, and there are unfortunately a lot of things that wordpress stores in the database that are impossible to bundle up into files so they can be version controlled, but for theming and function development, it works a charm!

I would like to have more ftp/sftp workflows. 

This workflow has unfortunately always been very buggy for me. Anytime I install it, it seems to only work about 1/10th of the time. For example, when I put in help, I do see the list of help commands, but when I put in anything else nothing shows up and "add reminder" is not clickable. Sometimes nothing shows up at all, just my default searches. All other workflows currently working fine...
