    Oh I haven't used a calculator app for 100 years because of Alfred 1, can't imagine not having quick calculations at the ready. Spotlight of course, though it does have its occasional uses.

    So far for me... - A color picker tool - A timer app - A battery health app - Maybe quickcal if someone adds a sweet natural language ical workflow (but prob just use alfred with quickcal) - TextExpander Looking for more!

    Works now even having everything switched back to Growl. I still have workflow on Growl, not Growl (default) though.(but I just checked and Growl works whether Growl or Growl (default) is chosen)

    Hey, that worked. Once I switched to Notification Center, it appeared correctly (in notification center), then when I switched to Growl for the workflow, Egg Timer for Alfred showed up in the Growl preferences and it started appearing.

    A warning though, I experienced some system instability when running both PC Keyboard Hack and KeyRemap4Macbook. Kernel panics, etc. Couldn't ever track down the actual cause, but they have disappeared since I uninstalled both of them. YMMV.

    Reinstalled, but still no eggtimer listed in growl registered applications. Growl is set in eggtimer config. Switched to notification center and back to growl a few times, but didn't help...

    1) Doesn't appear to be. I don't see it there, only my main Alfred 2 registration. I will try to reinstall... 2) Growl 2.01 3) 10.8.3 4) Yes, I have Alfred setup to use growl for all notifications (which I assume is why I get the one saying "timer created")

    Another huge thank you. I installed this thinking, oh, it might be useful. Now I use it at least 10+ times a day. I would pay for this as a separate app, having it within Alfred is just all the sweeter.

    Hmmm, I don't get any growl popup when mine goes off, (just when I create an alarm)...I'll try to troubleshoot. Thought it was an odd feature to leave out!

    ahh, I was all excited about Growl Notification, but it only exists to tell me that my timer was set, not to tell me what the timer going off is /for/. I would love a growl notification to pop-up when the timer goes off reminding me what I set it for! Espciall yimportant when I have multiple timers going. Just the ding doesn't always remind me...

    Sorry, this isn't really the right subforum for this, but we don't have a meta sub-forum. Right now the flood control for forum searches is set at like 16 seconds. This seems a little on the overkill side, and I'm often left twiddling my thumbs while searching for possible workflows, etc. Anyway we could turn it down to like 2 seconds or even 5 seconds? Will still protect against a flood attack, but won't hurt regular users. Forum seems zippy, so I don't think the extra searches will slow it down (though I'm not sure how many resources it is using)
