Hey, I absolutely love this workflow. It is by far my most used workflow that I have. I have one question though. I am not sure you are familiar with it but I use wikiwand (http://www.wikiwand.com) as my replacement for normal wiki. What it does is that it usually takes the links from wikipedia that you open and redirects it to their version. It does so with a safari extension. With Searchio workflow it works too but I really find that transition period really annoying as it often takes quite some time. I made a screencast to show better what I mean : http://quick.as/9yqPCOo22 Can I edit the workflow for the wiki search part so that it goes straight to the wikiwand version of the article and thus cuts down that redirection waiting time? This would be absolutely phenomenal as I really quite like using both the wiki and your workflow. Thank you a lot and I hope it would be possible.

I don't want to pollute my default search with a lot of my bookmarks from Safari as I can do here : However I really wish I could still search them, just search only for them and trigger this search from some hotkey or keyword. Would such a thing be possible to do? It would be incredibly useful for me.

Can I ask a question regarding this workflow? I also find it quite insightful that something like this can be done. I tried to replicate it like so : this is what I wrote in the bash script : And this is the post notification : However I would assume that the post notification would only write me 'online' or 'offline' in the notification but instead it writes this : I am not really certain what clarifies as a query here? Is it the echo part or everything in the script and how can I specify what goes in the notification pane. Thank you a lot for any help.

All right, I rebuilt the index with deleting the asked file and it seems to be working now. It's strange that this happened though.

I tried doing this : But that did not help either. However I did not delete the ./Spotlight-V100 file for 'complete reindex', perhaps I should try that too. What should I do to fix this as searching for files is one of my big use cases of this app. Thank you for any help.

I have this workflow that I often use : http://www.packal.org/workflow/notes I made this addition to it where some selected text that I have goes straight to my Notes app. However I wish to append a source of where the note came from to each note. This is what I have right now : What I was thinking of is combining this workflow : http://www.packal.org/workflow/currenturlwith the notes one to make my desired action. I essentially want to know how I can append text to my clipboard selection and how to combine or perhaps write my own version of CurrentURL to add a source of where the note was taken from to the end of the note, something like this : Also I want to have source added only if the note is taken from a browser, if taken elsewhere just add the note as it is. How can I make such a thing? I would appreciate any help on this. I am planning to write a few workflows of my own and want to start to contribute to this wonderful community.

I would like to change the names of each of the entries in the workflow to lowercase however I don't think I can't seem to be able to edit 'list_recent.scpt' file. Can I change this text to lowercase?

I very often right click on a workflow and open it in Terminal to see and edit the files. Like so : This is very annoying and I really hate using my trackpad / mouse as it takes time and this time adds up. I really wish I could press some hotkey whilst I have some workflow in focus to directly open it in terminal. Can I do that? Perhaps this should be a feature request to Andrew as I think only he can make a hotkey that does this behaviour but perhaps I am wrong. I just can't seem to find a quick way to edit and see the file contents of the workflows without having drag the mouse, right click and then drag the mouse and click again. I really wish it would be easier. Thank you a lot for any help with this.

Thank you, this looks really great. I was looking into go myself but I didn't know I could make workflows in it for Alfred. A 'go library' sounds really exciting. Also what should I change in the workflow to have the connections open in iTerm instead of default Terminal? -- NORMAL --

This workflow stopped working for me after updating to Alfred 3, is it possible to have some fix for it? This is what I get for any search I make :

Updated to Alfred 3 and get this now every time I want to execute the workflow : Pressing either of the options doesn't do anything and this pop up comes back again after I try and execute the workflow once more.

For example I have a web search for packal like so : I really wish I could press cmd + return here to bring me to the original jackal website (http://www.packal.org/). And have this be default behaviour for all the websearches. It would really be an incredible thing to do and can combine both searching by query and going to the website directly together. Do you think such a thing is possible to do?

The issue it doesn't work I suppose is because, I very often have cmd + enter binded to do a certain task in pretty much every application I have. I have it binded with BetterTouchTool, here is an example : "http://i.imgur.com/6v7pU8R.png" The issue with that though is that when I press cmd + enter whist doing Alfred search, it doesn't actually do the action of 'Reveal File in Finder' and it is quite unfortunate as I then am forced to use my mouse / trackpad to click on the entry. Is there some way I can bypass this issue? I hope you can understand what I mean and perhaps someone else had this issue too. Thank you a lot for any help.

I also have a question, is it possible to make it so that as I am making a search, if I press tab instead of it entering a space like it does now, it would actually autocomplete the top autosuggested result. There is a really neat workflow that does quite a handful of searches with autosuggestions (http://www.packal.org/workflow/searchio) and I am wondering if it would be possible to add Quora to that list.

Perhaps it doesn't register everything when the calls are made in quick succession such as what I think happens when developing alfred workflows. I use Alfred many times through out the day, all my google, youtube, images searches come from Alfred thanks to the workflow you made. It really is quite ingenious and I really love how fast autosuggestions for it are. Would be actually really neat to see percentage wise all the workflows that a user have used, perhaps it can be added in V3 version of the app if of course collecting this data won't interfere with the performance of the app. I see you also have some Alfred Remote triggers in there. Can I ask what you are using it for? I really think Alfred Remote or BetterTouchTool for iOS can do some really cool things but I really can't find any use cases for it except maybe controlling media playback.

I am curious how do you use remote and what for? I tried setting some things up but I just didn't find a good use for it yet.

Hey is it possible to optimise a selected image with a hotkey? Let's say an image is selected in finder or on desktop, I press the hotkey and it optimises the image. For me that would be incredible.
