In Alfred Preferences, I've selected opening Contacts in Alfred. I like it because it's so fast. But when the contact opens, it seems I can click on the email address to start an email, or click on the phone number to dial it, but what do I do if I want to edit a Contact?
If my Alfred search result turns up a Pages doc, I'd rather not have to wait for Pages to load to read it. I'd rather just use Quick Look. Is there any way I can do that?
I just installed Alfred, which I quite like, but in testing the search function it does not find text in OmniOutliner or DEVONthink files.
In Preferences/Default Results/Search Scope I've added the folders where the OmniOutliner files and DEVONthink databases are. Spotlight finds them ... what do I have to do to get Alfred to find them?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm about to do a clean install on a new Mac. Is it advisable to transfer the preferences from the old to the new, and if so, is it just a matter of copying the old plist file? Or am better off doing it manually?
