  1. And the Sequel Pro guys replied stating their users are happy about this pancake comment and they want to keep it. I guess I'm the only user not excited about pancake comments. Guess i lost the internet Could there maybe be a setting in Alfred to just not look in these kMDItemFinderComment for strange people like me who don't automatically associate SQL with pancakes?
  2. https://github.com/sequelpro/sequelpro/pull/2370
  3. I think I should perhaps bring this up with the Sequel Pro devs, because they are no longer using a stack of pancakes as a icon, see screenshot in first post
  4. @Andrew: thanks! I do have "Fuzzy capital letters (recommended)" selected, i am assuming this is the setting you mean? Can't recall I have changed it since i installed Alfred. Have not done much tweaking of the alfred settings, except for excluding some stuff from being in the results themselves. @vero: Thanks for the feedback! So the "pa" comes from the following then? kMDItemFinderComment = "MySQL database pancakes with syrup" Seems correct. i type "sy" (as in syrup) and Sequel Pro is also shown as first result. I am a bit confused how this is useful to use in autocomplete :-) $ mdls /Applications/Sequel\ Pro.app 18:33 _kMDItemOwnerUserID = 503 kMDItemAlternateNames = ( "Sequel Pro.app" ) kMDItemAppStoreCategory = "Developer Tools" kMDItemAppStoreCategoryType = "public.app-category.developer-tools" kMDItemCFBundleIdentifier = "com.sequelpro.SequelPro" kMDItemContentCreationDate = 2015-12-06 19:15:38 +0000 kMDItemContentModificationDate = 2015-12-06 19:15:38 +0000 kMDItemContentType = "com.apple.application-bundle" kMDItemContentTypeTree = ( "com.apple.application-bundle", "com.apple.application", "public.executable", "com.apple.localizable-name-bundle", "com.apple.bundle", "public.directory", "public.item", "com.apple.package" ) kMDItemDateAdded = 2015-12-10 11:26:35 +0000 kMDItemDisplayName = "Sequel Pro" kMDItemExecutableArchitectures = ( i386, "x86_64" ) kMDItemFinderComment = "MySQL database pancakes with syrup" kMDItemFSContentChangeDate = 2015-12-06 19:15:38 +0000 kMDItemFSCreationDate = 2015-12-06 19:15:38 +0000 kMDItemFSCreatorCode = "" kMDItemFSFinderFlags = 8192 kMDItemFSHasCustomIcon = (null) kMDItemFSInvisible = 0 kMDItemFSIsExtensionHidden = 1 kMDItemFSIsStationery = (null) kMDItemFSLabel = 0 kMDItemFSName = "Sequel Pro.app" kMDItemFSNodeCount = 1 kMDItemFSOwnerGroupID = 20 kMDItemFSOwnerUserID = 503 kMDItemFSSize = 43843484 kMDItemFSTypeCode = "" kMDItemKind = "Application" kMDItemLanguages = ( da, de, English, es, fr, it, ja, ko, nl, pl, pt, "pt_PT", ro, ru, sk, sv, tr, uk, vi, "zh_Hans" ) kMDItemLastUsedDate = 2016-01-07 14:52:44 +0000 kMDItemLogicalSize = 43843484 kMDItemPhysicalSize = 46047232 kMDItemUseCount = 13 kMDItemUsedDates = ( "2015-12-09 23:00:00 +0000", "2015-12-13 23:00:00 +0000", "2015-12-14 23:00:00 +0000", "2015-12-15 23:00:00 +0000", "2015-12-16 23:00:00 +0000", "2016-01-04 23:00:00 +0000", "2016-01-05 23:00:00 +0000", "2016-01-06 23:00:00 +0000" ) kMDItemVersion = "Nightly build for revision 7364a3bad2"
  5. I've noticed some wierd reults when searching with alfred (which is usually working correctly); these issues are resolved when i type a third letter, so this is more in the category of "annoyances"; first; i try to start "Sequel Pro" and type "se" and get "System Preferences" as first hit? second, i try to launch "Path Finder", and get "Sequel Pro" as first result?
