thanasut reacted to Lucagfc in Download Media — Download video and audio from web pages
I know that this can be a really stupid question but I've installed this amazing workflow (thanks for the good work) but when I open Alfred and type "da" or "dv" Alfred shows me app and files but not the workflow. What I'm missing?!? Thank you

ALFRED TODOIST WORKFLOW
Add and search Todoist tasks straight from Alfred. It uses Todoist v8 REST API.
Getting started
For this workflow to work you need version 3.x of Alfred and a powerpack licence. Node.js Installation
Download and import workflow.
Configuration
Name Notation Explanation token ^[0-9a-fA-F]{40}$ (default empty) The todoist API token. language en, da, pl, zh, ko, de, pt, ja, it, fr, sv, ru, es, nl(default en) The language for natural language date processing (by todoist) and to calculate time to complete a task. cache_timeout A positive number (default 3600, an hour) The time (in seconds) until the cache is refreshed (until that time todoist information is stored locally to make things a little faster) anonymous_statistics true or false (default true) Doesn't do much at the moment but I intent to use it to track installs todo:setting token {api token}
Example: todo:setting token 2d2e2a334c5f36e7a7c43b46e
todo:setting language {language}
Example: todo:setting language nl
todo:setting cache_timeout {time in seconds}
Example: todo:setting cache_timeout 13
todo:setting anonymous_statistics {true or false}
Example: todo:setting anonymous_statistics false
Usage
Name Notation Explanation task Any text except , The task title. date A date string See the Todoist documentation for supported date formats. project Either #personal or #[next actions] Use either the hashtag notation or bracket notation if the project name has spaces in it. The project name is case insensitive. label @label Label names can't contain any whitespace characters. Labels are case insensitive. priority Either p2 or !!2 A value between 1 (urgent) and 4 (normal) Search for tasks
todos {query}
Query
Any search query one character or longer. Uses fuzzy search to find the tasks.
Example: todos car => returns (because of fuzzy search):
Rent car New cat recipe's Cut Gras tomorrow Create task
todo {task}, {date}
Example: todo Get things done, tomorrow @ 9
Example: todo Build tree house #home !!2 @15min, tomorrow @ 9

thanasut reacted to vitor in Download Media — Download video and audio from web pages
Update.
Added support to download audio. It also works with downloading a full playlist as audio, but it does not include and option to add to WatchList automatically due to a limitation in youtube-dl where getting the filename for audio is not accurate.
Also changed the way downloading a playlist works. It now downloads everything into it’s own directory. It’s more organised and interfaces better with WatchList.
To update, download the latest version (same URL) or wait a few days and it’ll prompt you to on next usage, since it uses OneUpdater.

thanasut reacted to deanishe in Google Search for Similar Images
Perform a Google Image search based on files on your computer. The images are uploaded to Google, and the list of search results is shown in your browser.
Download
Get the workflow from GitHub or Packal.
Usage
Google search supports PNG, JPG, GIF and BMP images only. This workflow
is available as a File Action for any of these filetypes in Alfred.
There is also a Hotkey to search based on the current Finder selection. If more
than one image file is selected, only the first will be used.
Licence
This workflow is released under the MIT License.

thanasut reacted to vitor in VideoDuration — Output online video URLs with their duration and other details

To update, download the latest version (same URL) or wait a few days (15 or less) and it’ll prompt you to on next usage, since it uses OneUpdater.

thanasut reacted to vitor in Watch List — Play and manage local media and streams
Usage
Add files, series (folders), and streams (URLs) to your watchlist via the Universal Action.
Search through and play items from your list via the wlp keyword.
↩: Play. ⌃↩: Open the item’s URL in a web browser. ⌥↩: series: Rescan folder for audiovisual files. stream: Download. Requires Download Media. ⌘↩: Mark as watched without playing. ⇧↩: Add to temporary playlist. Repeat for all desired items then ↩ to play them in order. An unplayed playlist is reset after a few minutes. ⌘Y (or tap ⇧): Quick Look files and streams. Sort your list in different ways with wls. Sorting is temporary and does not affect the main list’s order.
Manually edit the list via the wle keyword. A Text View will open for you to reorder and rename at will. Keep the initial six characters and colon together with a title. ⌘↩ to apply the changes.
Undo marking an item as watched via the wlu keyword. ↩ to mark not watched and try to recover from the trash.
If the item has an origin URL (shown in the subtitle):
⌘↩: Open URL in a web browser. ⌥↩: Copy to the clipboard. ⌘Y (or tap ⇧): Quick Look. Subtitle reference:
There are three types of item: file, series, and stream. Each result has its name as the title. The subtitle details information following a template:
≈ (4) 𐄁 22m 32s 𐄁 691M 𐄁 /Some/Path ≈: Indicates item is a stream. file: N/A. series: N/A. stream: Always present. (4): Number of elements. file: N/A. series: Remaining audiovisual files in folder. stream: N/A for single items. Count of all items for playlists. 22m 32s: Running time. file: Running time of file. series: Running time of first audiovisual file in folder. stream: Combined running time of all elements. 691M: Size. file: Size of file. series: Size of first audiovisual file in folder. stream: N/A. /Some/Path: Path. file: Path to file. series: Path to folder. stream: URL. Supported Players
All media players are supported, but not all are able to play streams. mpv, IINA, and VLC are directly supported. With those, an item is not marked as watched if playback exits with a non-zero code. Take advantage of that to, for example, control when an item is marked as played and trashed. Disable the trashing behaviour entirely in the Workflow’s Configuration.

thanasut reacted to vitor in Watch List — Play and manage local media and streams
You misunderstood — you do it from Alfred’s file actions, not the Finder’s file menu. Select the files you want, and then press the keyboard shortcut (I think the default is Cmd+Opt+\).

thanasut reacted to jarhead in Create new task in OmniFocus inbox
For those having issues, download this version of the workflow: New OmniFocus Inbox Task.alfredworkflow
It is the same version provided by khit but with the modified Applescript provided above.
If you still encounter issues, make sure to delete the prior version of the workflow before installing this version.

Is there a new link? That link appears to be dead. Looks like a great workflow!

thanasut reacted to salmone in Google Search for Similar Images
This workflow seems very useful, but I'm having troubles using it, is there a guide somewhere?
I tried choosing a shortcut in "hotkey" node but selecting an image in finder and hitting the shortcut I get no results.

Edit: 2014-05-23
Added some more search context options: subject and starred. Also adjusted the triggers to keep them shorter and simplier to trigger
Edit: 2013-12-23
The 1.3 update to Airmail seems to have broke the way this workflow worked. I'll work on getting it fixed.
I know there is a thread going on in the help portion so I figured I'd share my current Airmail workflow. Right now it has two components: new mail and unified search(Big thank you to David Ferguson for helping me with this one).
Compose new mail:
Super basic as all it does it switch to Airmail and open a new composer window.
Syntax: airmail new
Unified Search:
This relies on Applescript and has two caveats: 1. you have to have unified inbox enabled and 2. if the search field is active it wont work
Syntax: airmail search {query}
At some point I plan to make the compose mail workflow more robust and utilize the Airmail Applescript support, and also expand the unified search to check if the search field is active. I'm just on limited time right now but I at least wanted to get what I have out to peope. Feel free to add or help if you want!

thanasut reacted to idea4IT in Gmail Client for Alfred
Thanks, Eric. I think I was able to track down the problem!
Here's a new version that should fix it:
https://github.com/fniephaus/alfred-gmail/releases/tag/v1.2
The workflow saves the access token in your keychain, so the file is supposed to be created if it does not exist. Deleting the file will force you to re-authenticate. In v1.2 I've now added a shortcut (`wf:deauth`) for doing this.

thanasut reacted to Vero in Evernote Workflow 9 beta 4 (Alfred 4)
@lavalcas I'm guessing that Dropbox's latest change in policy where the "Public" Dropbox folder is no longer shared has gone live, so @Carlos-Sz will just need to update the link to the workflow.
In the meantime, here's a download link using the copy of the workflow I had on my Mac I'll remove this link as soon as the official one is updated:
[Link removed - See first post of this thread to get the latest version of this awesome workflow!]
Cheers,
Vero
