  1. Hey ismoetry, I installed your workflow and find it very useful. Thank you. I do not know shell scripting enough to solve the problem I have, copy i.e. 4 lines get them clipped as 4 different clips not just one paragraph. Do you think your workflow can help me? (Red the readme file, think your workflow is more about filtering what is already clipped). If not, consider my question as a feature request My question on Alfred help forum: http://goo.gl/NLnMFH
  2. Alfred's clipboard feature is a terrific buffer. Let's say I want to copy and paste the next 4 lines: Line 1 Line 2 Line 3 Line 4 Is there a way I get my 4 lines clipped as 4 different clips not just one paragraph? That would be very cool, isn't it?
  3. Thank you for your answer. Tried Bower a few months ago. It works but I don't think it is for me.
  4. I tried to create a Hotkey -> Open url workflow with this url "chrome://bookmarks/". Are these kind of urls not supported? Thanks.
  5. I want to launch Twitter application (not twitter.com) from one shortcut in Google Chrome. The problem is (apparently) one can simply not create shortcut google chrome app shortcut on a MAC. So - I installed google apps launcher. It can be launched from a keyboard shortcut but I want to launch one app not the launcher. - I tried to create a workflow (Hotkey -> Open url). Failed big time. Any idea? Thank you.
  6. It would be helpful for people, just like me, accidentally send files to Trash. I know the "Move to" action does exist, but in all honesty, I am too lazy (Thanks to Alfred ). More seriously, "Move to" action would never be as fast as a "Put back" action could be.
  7. +1 working like a charm on my Mac. Configuration : OSX Lion 10.8.3 Google Chrome 30.0.0.1
  8. Let say I am in the Alfred's actions list with one file selected and I want to go back to the navigation folder. Hint: I don't want to do the whole navigation again
  9. Ok, i get it now. Thanks. Little feedback: what stroke me >> made me think there may be a something wrong here was that these folders were not sorted apart the standard folders. No big deal.
  10. Thanks you for your explanation. I like the idea "Let's keep it simple when using youtube-dl via Alfred" So the workflow is as smooth/fast as it absolutely can be. Can't wait for the next update
  11. Can I customize the folders I can move my folders/files to? Because I just used the "move to..." feature (via a file selection) and I discovered 3 folders I don't think I set them to be destination folders. Is it a bug or one more hidden gem the Alfred support will make me discover?
  12. Awesome. Thank you. What do you mean by "put your path inside of the "formatSpaces()" definition" ? I see three "formatSpaces()" definitions. Sorry, newbie here About youtube-dl: I was thinking of an action modifier linked to one option. For example: an Alfred user would be able to set the following preferences: -"When hitting Cmd+Enter, I download the video in the highest quality format available". -"When hitting Alt+Enter, I download the video the X format". youtube-dl options look more interesting when using the shell.
  13. How do I change the directory the files are downloaded to ? How can I change youtube-dl options to better fit my needs (i.e. always download the highest quality format available)? Thank you.
  14. That is the best downloading workflow available on Alfred. Others are working well. Yours is even faster. Thank you.
  15. Oh, yes I knew about that. Learned about it 2 days ago. It is awesome. I certainly thought about an dialog box as it a very common to add icon/images in other apps (ie iTunes). Not saying doing it that way is better to do, just an habit
  16. Absolutely agree with your comment. My point was more "Hey, there is room left on the screen, so why not using it"
  17. Like Tyler : "Another vote for this" Use case: I select X, Y files/folders in the results, hit a shortcut => all the files/folders selected are pushed/copied/inserted/transfered, ... to the frontmost application's window.
  18. To me, adding workflows's icons by drag and drop is the only painful thing about Alfred but a really irritating one (Any other Alfred's feature is so well executed you become easily irritated when you find one that is just ok ). Please let us add icons via a dialog box (i.e: one click on the empty box opening a dialog box). Thank you
