Hi all, I'd really love to get this up and running.
I'm on macOS 10.14.6 with ruby 2.3.7p456 (2018-03-28 revision 63024). This is what I get on running "pin". (API key is set)
[14:36:11.222] PinPlus[Script Filter] Queuing argument '(null)' [14:36:12.263] PinPlus[Script Filter] Script with argv '(null)' finished [14:36:12.266] ERROR: PinPlus[Script Filter] Code 1: /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/2.3/usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/json/common.rb:156:in `parse': 784: unexpected token at '{"update_time":"2020-06-14T15:51:27Z"} (JSON::ParserError)
Side note: I also have ruby 2.7.1p83 (2020-03-31 revision a0c7c23c9c) installed via rvm but I can't seem to get the workflow to use it. Already searched stack overflow but getting nowhere. So I figured I'd ask. Would really appreciate a pointer in the right direction.

Thanks @deanishe — that of course explains it 😂 Good to know that it learns from usage, I guess Helper Macros and Groups showing up won't be annoying for too long, then.

Can you guide me to where exactly I can find this line? I don't have much experience with Alfred workflows...🙈 Any help is appreciated, as I would really like to exclude some macros in Alfred. Cheers, everyone.

Hi everyone,
I am having a bit of trouble getting remote server paths via copy paths. The pattern "smb://servername_or_ip/path…" would be what I actually need. Can someone push me in the right direction, please… How would I go about solving this? Until now I somehow always run in circles… Thanks in advance for any hints.
What I get with Copy Paths to Clipboard (also tried all other options):
/Volumes/path-to-whatever-fileDesired outcome: with File Information – copy & paste full path:
smb://servername/path-to-whatever-file -
Hi all,
…since the Leo Workflow stopped working (due to timeout) and reading that they asked the workflow to not be published furthermore (see https://github.com/psistorm/alfredapp) I am also looking for an alternative and this works really good. I have a question though: Is there any way to reverse the display within the results list? Looking at the following screenshot, from a UX perspective, I find it irritating that the term I already know (water in this case) is shown large - since the translation "Nass" is really what I'm after. Does anyone have a hint how this would be possible, if at all? Any hint is highly appreciated.

Hi deanishe, thanks for linking your script. I have to admit I'm not too familiar with this level of detail. How would I set it up within Alfred?
@dfay
tag looks great - are you just referencing it for command line usage, or are you using it with Alfred?
-
I'd sure be interested - would you post it including a small usage instruction?

Ha! Thanks for the hint deanishe…
I knew about ⌘⌥\ (CMD+OPT+BACKSLASH) but somehow didn't think of the way you proposed. Works like a charm and sure is a viable solution. Maybe someday there will be a pure Alfred workflow again, though. Thanks again

Hi vitor,
and thanks for the hint. This sure looks very handy but I'm more in for something like getting the selected file in finder (no problem) and adding e.g. a comma separated tag list or choose from already existing tags. It's pretty cumbersome to add tags to existing files through finder only…

Hi everyone on the forum,
I've been reading silent for a long time and love looking through the forums... Today though, I have to ask for some help... I remember having a workflow that made it easy to find and tag files using Alfred. It's been a long time and I can't seem to find anything that does the job quite right. I know about the built in tag search but it seems as if I can't find any hint on tagging through Alfred.
I only find rather old stuff or repos with a 404. Is there anybody out there that can help, or has a hint on convenient tagging within Alfred?
Cheers and thanks in advance for looking at this question

Thanks @vitor and sorry: I was under the impression that the error was on my setup and thought it wasn’t associated with the API post.
