  1. Just to let you know, I'm keeping a close eye on this situation as I'd love for Alfred to work seamlessly with 1Pwd v4 once it's generally released
  2. While I agree that the behaviour you are experiencing isn't ideal, focusing Finder for the file operations isn't a good fix as most people like to use Alfred without Finder getting in the way. I am going to move this to the Noted sub-forum and add these details to my already created ticket for overhauling the file interactions. Cheers, Andrew
  3. Outside of Task Paper, does ctrl+cmd+up/down affect Alfred's merge in any way (i.e. select some text in a text editor). Cheers, Andrew [Moved to help sub-forum for now]
  4. You may have something installed on your user profile which is interfering with the timing of this. Could you temporarily create a new user, switch to that user, setup the clipboard history and try again from there with a fresh / new Alfred install. i.e. Copy some text, use the merge hotkey, then check Alfred's clipboard history for the merged items. Cheers, Andrew [moved to the help sub-forum]
  5. You may have set the left arrow key as a hotkey for a workflow or one of the default hotkey actions. Check all workflows for hotkeys, and check the default iTunes and File Selection hotkeys in the Features prefs
  6. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't give access to remote address books in their APIs: http://goo.gl/uDLt5V "You can only search the user’s local Address Book database, not remote directories such as CardDAV or Exchange" ... so this would have to be achieved with a workflow.
  7. There may be a permissions issue - for now, quit Alfred and manually download the latest version from alfredapp.com. The issue should then just go away from now on
  8. This looks like a corrupted download or unzip. Could you please download Alfred again, and if you are using a 3rd party unzipping tool such as iUnarchive or iZip, then just use Apple's default Archive Utility instead. Let me know how you get on [moving to the help sub forum]
  9. I've moved this to the feature request sub-forum as the bug sub-forum is for bugs only please.
  10. There is no way to disable Alfred's use of PHP, plus many of the best workflows are also based on php, so you may want to look at reinstalling php on your Machine, otherwise you'll get quirky behaviour all over the place! Cheers, Andrew
  11. The only difference is that the Terminal / Shell feature uses osascript (same as a Run Script object set to osascript), and not NSAppleScript as the Run AppleScript action and AppleScript Editor use. I have found that iTerm opens a second tab up when opening from scratch regardless of the AppleScript, so you may want to play with that a little more. If you switch this AppleScript to using Terminal.app, do you get the behaviour you expect? [i am moving this to the help and questions subforum as I need to keep the bugs subforum to Alfred bugs only]
  12. Alfred 2.1 (likely the next release, unless there is a need for another 2.0.x build) will contain quite a few satisfying workflow improvements
  13. Do you have a different net connection to try? the CDN node may be broken, or a proxy issue preventing you from getting to it. If not, pop an email to info@alfredapp com and I'll attach the zip in a reply Cheers, Andrew
  14. This could be one of a few things, a permissions problem or php (used for a second level validation of the download) being broken on your Mac. Firstly, try repairing permissions in OS X's disk utility app, then open Terminal and type: php -version and whereis php Cheers, Andrew [moving to the help subforum]
  15. Thanks for upgrading to v2! This sounds like corruption of some sort... do you use a 3rd party un-zipping tool such as iZip or iUnarchive? As these don't correctly resolve symlinks when unzipping app files, and as such, the .app file is corrupt. If so, you'll need to use Apple's default Archive Utility to unzip correctly.
  16. Alfred v2 can already give you all the visibility of hotkeys you need (with the added flexibility of the workflows). You could add all your v1 hotkeys into a single workflow where you can see them all in one place, e.g.
  17. There are some pretty significant improvements to workflows / workflow editing planned for 2.1, and one is to give you a much better overview of what keywords / hotkeys are being used
  18. There isn't at this point, but there will likely be in the future
  19. I haven't heard of this happening to others, so there may be something interfering... - What hotkey combo do you have set to show Alfred? - Do you have any workflows which are using hotkeys? - Do you have a non-apple keyboard? - Do you have any other apps which operate on keyboard interaction (e.g. TextExpander) Cheers, Andrew
  20. If you checked v1 from the app store, it won't have the Powerpack, therefore likely won't exhibit the same behaviour. I think the key combo which may be tripping you up is the Features > File Search > Actions > File Selection hotkey mentioned previously. Select this hotkey, right click and clear it.
  21. I'm going to move this to the workflow help forum, you may get more response there
