  1. Ah nicely spotted - I'll get this sorted for the next release as there is no reason the prefix shouldn't work really.
  2. With some graphics card / mac combos, this is actually a latent window shadow issue where your Mac isn't clearing out the window shadowing under the text. If you use the window blurring hack, not only will this theme look better, but also this issue should go away: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/289-cheeky-little-transparency-blur-hack-in-b78-now-available/
  3. There is actually a 0.9 Leopard build on the v1 support page: http://v1support.alfredapp.com/kb:minimum-requirements Cheers, Andrew
  4. Could you post a link to a workflow exhibiting this behaviour?
  5. There isn't a limitation (other than the number of visible results, but you can scroll past that anyway). Did you type "quit preview", as the available apps will filter down as you type. You would have likely seen Preview after typing "quit pr".
  6. There is a nice workflow for this: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/1345-open-selected-finder-items-in-an-application-keyword/
  7. This isn't really a bug, more a feature request... but I agree that this should be an option in Alfred's iTunes prefs.
  8. Unfortunately, this may be outside of Alfred's control. Could you please try creating a new user in OS X, switching to that user and trying Alfred from there? [moving to investigating to keep bugs thread clear]
  9. I already have a ticket for this for the 2.1 release which will improve workflows in general. I'm going to move this to noted to keep bugs focused.
  10. I already have a ticket for this which should make it into a future release
  11. This may be a consequence of NSTask and something Alfred won't be able to work around. You could possibly work around this by piping all output into dev null, which will allow the NSTask to return back to Alfred. I'm moving this to noted as I may look into it later.
  12. You shouldn't see this sandboxing issue - essentially, Mail.app is told to open files and OS X is preventing Mail.app from accessing these files. This isn't happening for the majority of users so may just be a permissions quirk. I've moved to noted to think about at some point.
  13. I'll add defence against this in Alfred, but the behaviour of this workflow will remain undefined, and up to the workflow developer to prevent confusion.
  14. I'm aware of this and have a ticket to look into it for a future release. I've moved this to noted for now as it's not really a bug, just a behavioural thing
  15. This stack trace suggests corrupting in OS X's metadata index. I've provided a shortcut in Alfred's Advanced prefs to rebuild OS X's entire metadata index and this should stop the issue
  16. You need to pre-encode the URL outside of the {query} parameter to be valid, so replace the second # with %23. Interestingly, you'll notice that this forum has already done this as if I copy the test URL you pasted, it has %23 instead of #'s
  17. You can use cmd+backspace to clear the text field for new text
  18. Vero is constantly improving the tutorials and manual on http://support.alfredapp.com so take a look there to get started
  19. Could you try temporarily creating a new user account on your Mac, switching to that user and seeing if the issue exists. This will act like a new[ish] install of OS X without anything on your current profile which could potentially interfere.
  20. Hmm, I wonder... could you try reinstalling iTunes? If Alfred can't get access to it or something is corrupt, then he won't be able to run any AppleScript for it.
  21. Here is a 'Search Mail' workflow from Vero: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/916-mailapp-search-by-author-subject-or-content/ It splits searching into subsets too
  22. Does the iTunes mini player / iTunes actions still work after this message? If so, it may just be a permissions issue. Open Disk Utility.app, select your drive and click 'Repair Permissions'. Once complete, restart your Mac and try again [Moving to Help forum] Cheers, Andrew
  23. Interesting Observation - I'm moving this to the Workflow Help section so others can benefit from it
  24. Thanks for investigating, I've added a ticket to look into this for a future release
  25. If you are using sublime quite a bit, it may be much more efficient to skip actions (the open with action) altogether, and instead, create a workflow with a file filter wired into "Open" and set the open with app to be Sublime. This way, you could just type e.g. sub filename ... and you'll see only the file types you want, pressing return will open in sublime. Let me know if you need any help with this Cheers, Andrew
