@zlebandit could you email the exported output of typing ?diagnostics into Alfred to our info@ address so I can take a quick peek at Alfred's settings?

Andrew got a reaction from alfredpanda in Hotkey trigger doesn't output macOS selection
@alfredpanda change the hotkey trigger mode to "Simulate modifier keys released" or "Wait until modifier keys are released", otherwise when Alfred simulates the ⌘C, you'll still be holding the option key. You can do this by clicking the teal symbols to the right of the hotkey config field.

Note that Alfred's default option is Simulate, so this should work by default.

Andrew got a reaction from Floating.Point in Scroll bars in the new Markdown View do not follow theme
The text view uses a native macOS Scroller for the text view, so you won't get the themed scroller like in Alfred's default results. You're seeing it like this because you likely have your macOS setting to "Show Scroll Bars: Always". If you set this to the default of "When Scrolling", you won't get the background drawn behind the scroller.

Having said that, there are a few things you can do to make this look a little better if you want to keep the macOS "Always" setting enabled.

    1. Assuming macOS is in dark mode, Switch Alfred's dark mode rendering to native in the Appearance > Options > Use Native Dark Mode window rendering... This should make the background darker and fit with your theme better.

    2. Update the theme to use a Visual Effects View background. You'll lose the pink border, but this uses a more modern window content view, and the scrollers are rendered differently.

Let me know how you get on

    Cheers,
    Andrew

Andrew reacted to Stephen_C in How do I disable all AI features?
Alfred does not use AI unless and until you download and install a workflow designed to use AI (for example, the chatGPT workflow). When I refer to "AI” I mean the external companies to which you refer,. Of course, Alfred has his own intelligence. 😀

Andrew got a reaction from universe in (5.5 beta) Grid view as script filter output
The Grid View is a brand new paradigm, and completely separate view in Alfred. Using a keyword<space> e.g. "gif<space>query" can't take you out of the default result context automatically, as this would wreak havoc when there could be multiple unrelated default result matches.

It'll become second nature before you know it...

    keyword<space> = stay in context
    keyword<enter> = new context

@rknightuk Where is the extra keypress? You mean a ↩︎ instead of space?

You could always connect up a hotkey directly to the grid view to get to it directly.

Yep, I can definitely add some font size options in the Text View config.

The Font menu on the popup shouldn't be there (as it's plain text), I'll remove that in the next build.
