  1. Thanks, I created a .csv file which works. Is it possible to copy 2 lines? My csv file contains: Library1,sub,"Library1\n1 main st, New York" Library2,sub,"Library2\n2 main st, New York" The workflow follows with copy to clipboard but pasting in the text shows \n on one line instead of interpreting it as a newline. How can I get it to copy 2 lines?
  2. I have an Apple note with a table with 2 columns, name and address. I would like to create a workflow where I could type the name from column 1 and have it copy the address from column 2. Is that possible? Would it be easier if it were stored in a plain text file or some other format?
  3. I find that confusing since I think of a workflow as an object/thing and think of preferences as being a setting.
  4. Wow, that's amazing, I never would have thought of that, thanks!
  5. I'd rather not unhide it and although ⌘⇧G brings up go to folder when saving in Atom, paste doesn't work for some reason so I can't paste in the path. I tried that and it only syncs the preferences file not the actual workflows. Actually, I see that Alfred.alfredpreferences is a package that contains the workflows folder. However, when saving a file I can't select folders within this package. I thought it would be possible to save Alfred workflows to a specified directory but it looks like that's not possible, right?
  6. I recently switched to MacOS (after 25 years using Windows) and am attempting to follow the workflow tutorial here: http://alfredworkflow.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorial_1.html It says to: In Finder I see the path is /Users/me/Library/Application Support/Alfred 3/Alfred.alfredpreferences/workflows/user.workflow.15D29E23-6534-4970-BC77-5C00522BE05E Using Atom I create a new file and click Save however I don't see the Library folder. After some googling I realize that the Library folder is hidden by default. Should I try to unhide the Library folder or is there a way to save Alfred workflows in a different location? What is best practice?
