  1. Sorry -- I realized that I hadn't really provided any useful information a little later!

Anyway, I'm also having the issue with Python processes that people are talking about, and the temporary fix didn't seem to help, so I suppose I will just wait until there is an update to the workflow.

EDIT: I just tried Fixum again and now my Pocket workflow works. So, thanks for that!

  2. Are you the Numi developer?

I see that you are the developer. It's a great little app. I emailed you with some suggestions.

I can't seem to get the Alfred workflow to work; I'm getting the error "Failed to connect to localhost port 15055: Connection refused."

  3. IMDb has a feature whereby you can find all of the projects that two people worked on together. I would love it if someone could put together an Alfred workflow that would allow me to do the same. I imagine it would have to look up each actor's "nmXXXXX" designation on IMDb and then put that into a URL to get to the search page.

I wouldn't have any idea where to begin with this, but if anyone thinks they can tackle it, I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks!

  4. Hi,

I'm the sort of guy who gets totally lost when the terminal is open, but I've managed to figure out how to use it to change my .epub ebooks into .mobi ebooks so I can use them in my Kindle app. I open the terminal, drag a specific exec file to it, drag the .epub book I want to convert, hit enter and I have a brand new .mobi file.

How can I get Alfred to do this for me? Can I do it from the actions panel, or should it be a hotkey?

    Thanks for any help.

  5. I do not have any of those things -- my folder is on my internal SSD. I don't have any other display than the laptop screen. I do sort of use spaces, but only because I keep a couple of my apps in full-screen.

To set the image for my wallpaper, I created a folder which I call "Backgrounds." It's got about 500 pictures in it. Then, in System Preferences -- Desktop & Screensaver -- Desktop, I set it to pull images from that folder and change them in random order every 5 minutes.
