highlight the custom search in the web search tab and press delete key. It'll ask you to confirm.

James reacted to Subject22 in Open current Safari tab in Chrome - Improved
Oh that is bizarre. The file that that link refers to on my local machine is correct. The file that that link refers to on my dropbox account online is correct. But actually clicking that link serves up an old version of the file. Try this: http://d.pr/f/Q7vP. Link in the first post now works again.

James reacted to Vero in Exclude Albums in iTunes mini player search?
It's not possible to remove the album titles from the listings. If you get results where the album and the song both show up within the top results, just use Cmd + # for the song if you want to avoid having to arrow down to the result you want

James reacted to Andrew in Help V2 doesn't open any applications
Alfred should work fine with CleanMyMac - MacPaw were also very quick to respond to Vero for our recent whitelist request for an upcoming release

James got a reaction from Vero in How to open apps with keyboard
Alfred Pref -> Workflows -> + (on bottom left side) -> Templates -> Files and Apps -> Launch File group from Hotkey
Then click hotkey box to set up the hotkey. After, click Launch Apps/Files box and dray App there
URL similar except instead of Files and Apps, there's Web and URL

James reacted to perrohunter in How to make iTunes playback continue after a searched song has been played
Well, to address this issue I developed a workflow that lets you search for a song, play it and after the song the playback will continue, the bad thing is that if you press back on the next song, the song you played last (the one you searched) won't be played.
Hope it's useful to anyone:
iTunes search and Play by perrohunter

James reacted to Andrew in Typeface options
Don't worry chaps, I'm already aware that people would love to use bespoke fonts and I'll very likely look into this during a v2.x... I could just make exporting / importing more aware of this

James reacted to Vero in Mail.app search by author, subject or content [For macOS Mojave & earlier]
Thought I should share this workflow to search Mail.app
Use the following keywords to search:
emfrom to search the sender's name and email address em for a general subject + content search emsubj to search specifically for a subject line
You can download it here. Enjoy!
This version is suitable for both Alfred 3 and Alfred 4.
Compatible with macOS versions up to Mojave. Unfortunately, due to some changes made by Apple in macOS Catalina, it's no longer possible for third-party apps to access your Mail data. This may change in the future, but currently, using this workflow in Catalina or Big Sur will not return any results.
