lemikeone got a reaction from erusev in Select multiple results in the Clipboard history
Hello Deanishe,
Yes, Alfred's clipboard merging feature is great, but you need to decide what you want to paste before to copy your text, which is not always easy.

Hello,
I don't use Alfred currently to manage my clipboard (I use the app Paste) for one single reason : In Paste, I can select multiple results (with the shift key) to paste all the results at the same time, which seems to be impossible in Alfred.
Is there any solution to do that in Alfred, or is it planned in a future release ?
This topic is about the clipboard, but I have exactly the same issue with Chrome bookmarks results in Alfred : I would like to be able to select more than one result to open the selection in several tabs (my workaround today is to create workflows, but it would be way more efficient to just be able to select multiple results for your search, like selecting multiple files in Finder).
Anyway, thanks for this great app that I use everyday.

lemikeone reacted to vitor in [SOLVED] Split Arg to Var in Workflows : Two delimiters ?
Add a Replace Utility before the Split Utility and tell it to replace spaces with @ (or vice-versa). You’ll get the same result as multiple delimiters.

I found a solution using the utilities "Split Arg to Vars" !
Thanks again for the precious help.

I know. I thought that would be an interesting exercise for you now the tricky part is done

This AppleScript should return the contents of the To: field if you're composing a Gmail message in the active browser tab in Chrome.
tell application "Google Chrome" tell active tab of window 1 to return execute javascript "document.querySelector('div.aDm>span').innerText" end tell
Execute it in a Run Script action with Language = "/usr/bin/osascript (AS)".

I'm afraid this isn't possible without some fairly serious scripting.
Gorgias is an extension running inside your browser, so it can easily read the page you're looking at. Alfred (or any other external application) can’t just reach inside your browser like that.
It is probably possible to do, but varies from tricky to very difficult depending on which browser you're using. And it will probably break the next time Google changes Gmail.

lemikeone reacted to Mr Pennyworth in FAMOS: FAstest eMOji Search: In 25 languages: With Google Emoji Kitchen Integration
FAstest eMOji Search (FAMOS)
Instant search for emojis in Alfred with related keywords in 25 languages and Google Emoji Kitchen integration
This post is outdated, link to up-to-date README
Download the latest versions: github release
FAMOS speaks many languages!
FAMOS uses emojibase, which is an excellent library, meticulously curated. So, all the languages that emojibase supports, FAMOS automatically does too.
FAMOS is the fastest!
10x to 20x faster compared to alfred-emoji and EmojiTaco!
FAMOS launches in under 20 miliseconds (imperceptible), while both the other workflows take hundreds of milliseconds to launch (very much perceptible).
The reason FAMOS exists is that I wanted my emoji picker to:
- launch instantly
- search with zero lag
- let me pick skin-tones for each individual emoji
Skin-tone prefs for each individual emoji
I like my emojis to reflect my skin-tone correctly. And also hair color! That means, I might not always get both. So, I want hand-emojis to have my skin-tone, but face-emojis to have my hair-color even if that means wrong skin-tone. In addition, if you're a stickler like me, you will understand that I want one skin-tone for the palm and a different one for the back of the hand. Back of the hand is a shade darker than the palm, isn't it!
Search results show if an emoji has multiple tones available:
Hold command:
After pressing command+enter:
From now on, the chosen tone becomes the default tone for this emoji:
Feature comparison
Both alfred-emoji and EmojiTaco are excellent workflows, and they have tonnes of features that FAMOS lacks, and has no plans of implementing. You should definitely check them out!

lemikeone reacted to FroZen_X in Multiple paste of Files from Clipboard history
Hello everyone,
it would be pretty cool if it would be possible to select multiple Files, Clips or whatever from the Clipboard history and paste it.
For instance:
I would have copied a few files and wanna paste them. Here is an example:
If i could now just press Shift+Arrow down to select multiple items and then just paste them that would be awesome
If there is another way then lemme know, but else this would be decent to have.
Another addition to that would be the ability to change the Shortcut for adding files to the file buffer. Something like
⌘+C and ⌘+V would make the file Buffer/Navigation even better
Cheers,
Frozen
