Nothing has changed from the previous reply. Ventura is still a beta, System Settings is still broken left and right, and those panes that Alfred finds are based on the names given by Apple.
 
Bug reports dealing with System Settings and the panes have to be reported to Apple.

I can’t reproduce, everything is working fine for me. Which beta are you on, what’s your version of Alfred, and how exactly are you trying to open the preferences?

This isn't really something a workflow is suited for: Alfred only runs things when you tell it to, and backups should happen entirely automatically. Alfred also doesn't provide any tools that would actually help with what you're trying to do.
 
A script to back up your calendar run daily via a Launch Agent would be a better solution.
 
Forum users could probably help you write a script, but you'd have to provide a more detailed description (where you're getting the ICS file from, which directory it should be saved to etc.).

The name is always the same: Alfred.alfredpreferences.
 
Don't pay too much attention to the date. That's only the date for the bundle itself, not its contents.

Was looking for the same topic, so trying to bump this. Is there any way of increasing the results window for "define" so that more of the definition could appear? The results are usually not useful because they are so cut off.

I use the dictionary feature a lot, and I think it would be great to have the option to view the full definition right in Alfred, instead of a single line which rarely ever provides useful insights. This makes me open the Dictionary app every time, which is very inefficient. This is the default Spotlight behavior (phrases using the word and etymology are also included, and it's really useful) and it works well. Lacona does this too.

I use Alfred for almost everything except when I look up word definitions because of the useless layout that Alfred provides (without opening the dictionary app). If this was implemented, another useful feature would be the option to set up the dictionary as a fallback search if the word is in the dictionary (like Spotlight).

@Ivan Herman just wondered if you ever found a solution to this or if anyone else here has? This would be so nice.
