  1. I know this is an old topic, but +1 for this feature request! I think having an x-callback-url might let us accomplish something similar as well.
  2. Thanks @Vero! I think these are not supposed to be Applications (they're part of homebrew packages for macOS) so I'll have to figure out something with #3 since they seem to be everywhere
  3. Sure thing! Starting Diagnostics... 4. Ah, what a cool feature! I didn't know this existed 😃 Check direct file metadata... ✅ Direct metadata available Display Name: gpg-agent.service Other Names: Content Type: com.apple.service-application Last Used: ----------------------------------------------------------- Check mdls file metadata... ✅ Metadata contains required items _kMDItemDisplayNameWithExtensions = "gpg-agent.service" kMDItemContentCreationDate = 2021-12-20 21:20:48 +0000 kMDItemContentCreationDate_Ranking = 2021-12-20 00:00:00 +0000 kMDItemContentModificationDate = 2021-12-20 21:20:48 +0000 kMDItemContentModificationDate_Ranking = 2021-12-20 00:00:00 +0000 kMDItemContentType = "com.apple.service-application" kMDItemContentTypeTree = ( "com.apple.service-application", "com.apple.application-bundle", "com.apple.application", "public.executable", "com.apple.localizable-name-bundle", "com.apple.bundle", "public.directory", "public.item", "com.apple.package" ) kMDItemDateAdded = 2022-03-02 16:39:00 +0000 kMDItemDateAdded_Ranking = 2022-03-02 00:00:00 +0000 kMDItemDisplayName = "gpg-agent.service" kMDItemDocumentIdentifier = 0 kMDItemFSContentChangeDate = 2021-12-20 21:20:48 +0000 kMDItemFSCreationDate = 2021-12-20 21:20:48 +0000 kMDItemFSCreatorCode = "" kMDItemFSFinderFlags = 0 kMDItemFSHasCustomIcon = (null) kMDItemFSInvisible = 0 kMDItemFSIsExtensionHidden = 0 kMDItemFSIsStationery = (null) kMDItemFSLabel = 0 kMDItemFSName = "gpg-agent.service" kMDItemFSNodeCount = (null) kMDItemFSOwnerGroupID = 80 kMDItemFSOwnerUserID = 501 kMDItemFSSize = 223 kMDItemFSTypeCode = "" kMDItemInterestingDate_Ranking = 2021-12-20 00:00:00 +0000 kMDItemKind = "Application" kMDItemLogicalSize = 223 kMDItemPhysicalSize = 4096 kMDItemSupportFileType = ( MDSystemFile ) It looks like Finder/macOS thinks this is an application based on "kMDItemKind"? 🤔 My default results are just "Applications, Preferences, Contacts"
  5. I thought this was kind of peculiar - Alfred seems to search ".service" files by default with only the essentials in the default scope (Preferences/Contacts). Do I have some strange workflow I forgot about? or am I missing something about .service files?
  6. Oh wow, awesome! Thanks @deanishe!!! EDIT: and it works flawlessly!
  7. I'd like to see my pinboard bookmarks in the default search scope the same way Safari/Chrome's are available in the Web Bookmarks feature page. Rusty Pin in particular uses a cache for its bookmarks so they're all available locally in a .plist file. It would just be cool to be able to plug those in to the default results
  8. I really love the bookmark functionality of Alfred, but I'm transitioning my Safari/Chrome bookmarks online to Pinboard so I lose that handy default search power. I'm not sure if this counts as a feature request, but is it possible to use something like the Rusty Pin ( https://github.com/spamwax/alfred-pinboard-rs ) extension's cache (I think it's just saving them to a .plist) as a source? Or is there some fancy way this could be done with workflows?
  9. AH! Vero is a genius, that was totally it Thank you so much!
  10. Could this be a future feature in Alfred? It would be great to get to the root of this, because I'm actually fairly stumped. I've closed every application and process I can think of besides Alfred and iTerm and it still doesn't seem to work (even after a reboot)
  11. Mostly - I've had it quit working randomly on all apps intermittently after it didn't work in iTerm (sorry, I can't reliably replicate it!). I've tried reinstalling the Alfred text service a few times, but that didn't seem to work.
  12. Using Alfred 3.0.3 Build 694, Monday 18th July 2016 I tried to use one of my snippets (with "Automatically expand snippets..." turned on) in the latest stable version of iTerm (Build 3.0.4 ) and it didn't seem to work. It may be a bug with iTerm as well, because the stock macOS text substitutions aren't working either. (;address is one of my Alfred snippets) Using OS X 10.11.6 (15G31)
  13. Is there a way we can manually fix the XML for Alfred 3?
  14. huh, I must have edited something else accidentally. Re-downloaded my original version and made the change and it worked fine. Thank you!!
  15. Ah! Yeah, I might have toggled that when I was messing with it. I removed the @ but the top script filter doesn't seem to be triggering now...
  16. Hi! First of all, I love this app so much! I am having a small issue with building a new workflow though. Here is the basic layout: It's a todo app with OmniFocus. This is the workflow: 1) Get a task with the keyword object 2) Set "task" to that string with the Arg and Vars object 3) Use a script filter to list the contexts available in OmniFocus (green script filter) 4) Red filter 1, top branch: if the input is "mac", continue on to the next script filter that asks you to select a project 5) Red filter 2, otherwise, if the input is not "mac", just continue on without a project The problem comes with #4 and #5. I can't seem to get the 2nd script filter to show up when I use the "mac" context unless I have the "Close Alfred After Actioning Result" checkbox clicked after the green script filter. When I do that, though, the bottom path will keep Alfred up selecting a context that isn't "mac". Is there some kind of reverse junction maybe? Or am I missing something easy?
