  1. The computer you're currently using is excluded from the list as it does not make sense to start a screen sharing session to the same machine.
  2. This workflow is built with bash scripts and is fully compatible with Mavericks.
  3. After the recent update I still see my BTMM machine which is in a different network. I assume that your iMac will show up with BTMM under the same circumstances. You could run a quick test using your mobile phone as a hotspot and let me know if there are any problems. Cheers, Patrick
  4. BTMM enabled Mac's will still show up in the list if it's not the same machine that you're using at the moment. You're welcome.
  5. There's a new version available which fixes the BTMM issue. Just use the same download link in the first post again.
  6. Can you run "hostname" in the shell and paste the output here please?
  7. This is really weird, the own host should be filtered out, at least Air.local. Are you running the latest version of the workflow?
  8. Hi Ted, thanks for your reply. I experienced the same issue with Mavericks. Sometimes I don't see results after booting OS X, sometimes I see only some of them. It also takes some time for the BTMM machines to show up. There's currently no fix for that - it's the way the DNS service works - but you can run the workflow a second time and you should get all results. Regarding your second question: - What exactly do you see in Alfred? - On which machine did you run dns-sd to get the results you posted?
  9. You might want to try this: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/1248-mount-network-shares-with-automatic-discovery/
  10. Check out this: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/942-screen-sharing-with-automatic-network-discovery/ No need to setup anything.
  11. I just fixed a problem where the script failed to work correctly if one or both apps are closed. Use the download link above to update.
  12. Control iTunes and Spotify using the same global hotkeys with this Alfred workflow. Play magically knows which player you're currently using and sends the command to the right place. Download — stable version. The source code is available here: https://github.com/pstadler/alfred-play
  13. @kelpie: I don't know why this happens, no problems here. @martin: I supported an early version of Alleyoop, but now I rather wait for an official solution.
  14. @ksmth I'll have a look at this to filter out duplicate hosts as soon as I find time. @martin this is not planned yet.
  15. Enable guest access on the NAS. You don't need to give access to any share, just enable it in general.
  16. Currently I don't have the setup ready to work on NFS support. If I find time, I might give it a try. Feel free to hack on the workflow, would be great if you share your results.

  18. Thanks for the effort. Added support for the following workflows: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/942-screen-sharing-with-automatic-network-discovery/ http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/1248-mount-network-shares-with-automatic-discovery/ http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/1409-process-management-with-top-and-kill/
  19. Fix: matching user input is now case insensitive. Grab the latest version with the download link in the first post.
  20. I just implemented unmount to disconnect mounted shares. Grab the latest version with the download link in the first post. Cheers, Patrick
  21. A workflow for managing processes with top and kill. Use top to display the most active processes and kill to find and kill any running process by its PID or Name. Download — stable version. The source code is available here: https://github.com/pstadler/alfred-top
