  1. It would be nice to be able to run/activate workflows with cmd-R for the selected/active workflow flow. I know it's only a few key stokes to initiate your workflow (activated keys , up arrow). This is just more about muscle memory, if you are working a lot say in VSCode you often are running you code with a cmd+R (or at least that's my keybindings). I personally find activating the workflow normally gets a little frustrating when I am trying to debug something. sorry if this has already been mentioned, I did do a search.
  2. It would be nice to have a few shortcuts for the debugging in the Workflow. Notably to expose the debugging panel as well as to clear the output. As I use VSCode all the time and my memory muscle always wants to use cmd J to toggle hide and show the debug area and cmd K to clear the output screen. I figure a lot of people would do the same thing
  3. Vero, Thanks so much for your help. In my case it appears that the App Onyx (I am pretty sure) changed the file types. I re-ran their maintenance thingy and that fixed the file types and in turn Alfred works as normal. Sorry as this clearly was not an Alfred issue, just something I had done out of ignorance. @FilchesCat I hope maybe this helps your problem. 4. hmmmm, i can see the problem now with the file types. I will try and fix it.
  5. Vero, Below is the output. I had another look at my settings. One thing that changed things was if I turn on the 'Search all file types' in the Default Results settings. With that option set, I can now find my applications. The icons for the Apps found are generic application icons. Even though I shouldn't need that setting on, its a better workaround. 6. I have same problem on MacOS 10.13.6 and a Mac Pro as well. But I am fairly sure its something with the indexes as I have followed the guides here and anything else I could find on the web. No matter what I do I can't get the indexes rebuilt correctly. aka, finder search and spotlight search does not work. I am not sure if this has been done before (doing your own application search) in a Python script as normally you would never need it using Alfred. Anyway, the below works for me (you need powerpack and Alfred v3+) https://gist.github.com/Phuket2/0bc297ebfedfa7bef6033c0c869b0c67 I hope this helps someone. I am sure what I have done could be done a lot better(maybe someone who is good at this could do a more robust version) . I have just under 450 apps installed on my Mac, so I was desperate to get something working again until I am ready to do a fresh system install (I haven't done a fresh system install since 2013). Having to do this also opened my eyes up to different use cases for script filter as I have not used it in the past.
