  1. Damn... Been AWOL for a while and come back to some great new ideas. Good work guys.
  2. Just a very minor update to this. Feel like I have it just where I want so shan't be changing much more. Now with a little more contrast in terms of text and a very slight backgound highlight for the selected item. Also changed the selected text to a pale shade of the text. Hope you all like it. Cheers, PL
  3. Hey Guys, obviously each person has their own distinct way of working so not all workflows will fit with you. Having said that, I can very easily find use cases for this particular workflow and even think of 1 or 2 ways to tweak this to work in tandem with other workflows. Navigate to / choose folder in Alfred, Action this workflow, create a new file and then Alfred is opened on this file. From here I can "Open With..." and choose another app other than the default; Action another workflow on the newly created file. Really, there is much more that could be achieved with a little imagination (something that this forum has in abundance)
  4. Ah, right. Roger that then. When I think of some simple way of doing it I'll update this so others can use the info too. ;-)
  5. Thanks, thought so too. Better than a confirmation dialog. Either way I'm going to change it so that the emails are moved to trash rather than simply set their status to deleted. Safer that way.
  6. Yeah, definitely. Part of the action will be to clear out the temp file /plist file. Plain crazy not to
  7. Yeah, I've been thinking about something along those lines, or storing the path in some plist or temp file which is then referred to in the next action.
  8. OK guys, thanks for the heads up. Like I said, I've got other keys mapped so I didn't even notice that. You can download a new version that has slightly more obscure hotkeys for Mark Read and Delete. That hopefully should help avoid any unwanted and mistaken action. Cheers and keep those suggestions coming.
  9. Thanks for pointing that out. Since I've got another hotkey mapped in mail I didn't even notice that. I'll update in the next installment.
  10. Yeah, I'm happy with my Mail Actions Workflow for now so I'll dedicate a little time to the others now. Will figure something out I'm sure. Thanks for the ideas though
  11. Added a couple new features and fixed a bug with unread count. Please update guys. FIXED: Unread count was getting stored with folder list and not being updated on each run; NEW: Hotkey to mark all messages (unread messages in current mailbox) as read NEW: Hotkey to delete every message in current mailbox (useful for me anyway) NEW: Keyword/Hotkey to show list of mailboxes with unread messages As always, same link as in original post, or via AlfPT or get it on github.
  12. Very nice. Had an idea to do something similar, saved me the trouble. Great implementation too!
  13. What's this??? Is that the unread count I see? Yeah, I know, lot's to read, no time to do so...
  14. Yeah, that I know, but like you said it's far from ideal.
  15. Hey Guys, Kinda slow this weekend and I'm stumped on this one. How can I setup a file action in such a way that it accepts additional input in Alfred. Use case: My Spotlights Comment Workflow uses keyword trigger, accepts some text and then applies the text to the spotlight comment of the selected file. Now how could I setup a file action so that I could select one or more files in Alfred > action then choosing file action > get Alfred window again > input text which is then applied to file(s) in buffer or selected by Alfred. I know I can summon Alfred via AppleScript with the search "keyword trigger here" but that then looses focus of the selected files. Is this possible yet, planned or not even in the pipeline? If not I'll have to tag the long route, storing files that were selected then summoning Alfred etc.
  16. Cool, great to hear that. I hadn't yet had a chance to look into the issue.
  17. I've got workflow that I want to delve into (good way of learning python) and I'll definitely be using this! Also going to be updating my App Store Linker to take advantage of this mate! Great work. PS. May have to pick your brain once or twice, rather rookie at python...
  18. Hmm, that weird. Working on my end. I'll have a look into that later tonight. I'll also add an option to manually update mbcache.plist to make things easier for testing.
  19. Carlos, download the latest version (same link as in first post) and test local mailboxes. Like I said, I don't really use local mailboxes but from my limited testing it seems to be working. Also guys, new feature. type minfo and choose to either view the Info & Usage or Change Log. It tries to use Marked, if you don't have it installed it will use your default app for md files.
  20. Good news, Andrew's managed to nail this bug. Should be all good in the next release so we'll just have to wait a little.
  21. Yeah, I've updated the bug report already. Supposedly it was fixed in b94 but still persists. Andrew as always is on the case
  22. Yeah, I think it's all related somehow, check this latest video for what I mean http://cl.ly/2W1H2E2u2i1n and this too
  23. Ah, finally managed to replicate on my system too. Trigger hotkey, start typing something. Delete to beginning of line and start type again. I'll update the bug report above stating that this is still happening. It could be something on the workflows end but not sure. Will report back with more news once I have it. Here's a quick video of the error in action, can you confirm this is what happens to you too? (http://cl.ly/0d0p3g0A3M2K)
  24. Hmm, that is strange indeed. I can't replicate this no matter how I try. Have you tried changing hotkeys? Please try the following: Change hotkeys and try again (Fixed if not then step 2); Remove the hotkey trigger and re-add. Try again if not fixed try step 3; Install this simple workflow and trigger the hotkey see if that happens too: http://cl.ly/2I3f2k1g2A2Z
