  1. Wow, you really did fix my problem. I have no idea how you did it based on the minimal information / bug report that I gave you. Kudos!
  2. Sorry, there seems to be some misunderstanding. I'm talking about the shortened url. The expected output is: "http://j.mp/11vfsSl" But the actual output is: "http://j.mp/11vfsSl " (there is a line break which I did not expect) Am I making sense?
  3. Thank you so much for your response. That definitely solves the first problem. I would really appreciate it if you could perhaps look into the other problem mentioned. It was brought up earlier in this thread, and your response was that you are unable to throttle the script filters and prevent them from firing after every keystroke. But how come other workflows (such as this one: Wikipedia workflow (alternate))) don't face the same problem? I don't mean to challenge you; I'm just curious. Thanks once again for this great workflow.
  4. Thanks for creating this workflow, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. It shows that I am able to download and install one update (Evernote 4.5 to 4.6), but when I select the option it doesn't actually do anything. I get an Alfred notification saying "Alleyoop: all updates complete" but nothing has actually happened. Thank you for reading this.
  5. Thank you for this excellent workflow! I would just like to report one small bug: what is copied to the clipboard is not simply the shortened url, but it is the shortened url followed by a line break. Is there any way to fix this problem?
  6. Great workflow! The only problem is that pressing return doesn't do anything. I expected it to take me to the search result on Wolfram Alpha, but it actually does nothing. Also, it doesn't seem to understand when you start / stop typing. It recalculates the search results in a rather inefficient manner.
  7. Hi, I just want to report a small bug. I notice that the search term cannot contain an apostrophe. Try searching for any term that includes an apostrophe and it doesn't work.
  8. Thanks very much for this workflow. I second the above suggestion. And I also want to suggest a way to require a minimum number of numerals / special characters. Some passwords are generated with zero special characters, while some are generated with 3 or 4.
  9. Thanks so much for this workflow! Do you think this workflow could also have a feature to empty trash?
  10. Thank you so much for creating this workflow! I actually don't have any contacts on Skype, but I use Skype to call my Mac address book contacts. Is there any way I can use this workflow for that?
  11. Thanks for your workflow! But is there any way to grab the url from the clipboard instead of Safari?
  12. Thanks for your detailed response. Is there any way for me to modify this workflow such that it checks online for every place every time? I don't mind that it would take several seconds longer. Also, thanks for creating this great workflow. The best solution to this problem would be if countries all over the world decided to abandon the silly concept of daylight savings!
  13. Thanks, this solved the problem! EDIT: The only problem with this solution is that it requires me to keep up with the rest of the world to know when other countries are implementing Daylight savings time. Otherwise, I have to run the timezone update every single time before checking the time in a different country.
  14. Thanks very much for creating this workflow. Just one problem: it stopped working today because my time zone changed (due to Daylight savings). The workflow seems to get confused by this change. How do I fix this?
  15. Hi Guys, I've been using Alfred for a while, but I decided to make the plunge into PowerPack just yesterday because I discovered the "fallback search" feature and thought of an interesting use for it. Many of you might also find this useful: http://imgur.com/m4s7m48 If you set DuckDuckGo to be your default fallback search, you can take advantage of DuckDuckGo's powerful !bang searches from Alfred. !Bang, allows you to directly search hundreds of websites. See here for more info: https://duckduckgo.com/bang.html Now, I simply open Alfred, and type in "!translate ..." to translate something, I type in "!maps ..." to find a location on maps, etc. etc.!
