  1. @vitorThanks for the quick response. Your use-case makes a lot of sense. With your proposed solution, how would I handle the creation of new folders in a directory? Add them manually each time? I frequently add new projects and save files into those various folders. Without needing to manually add each folder as it is created, is there a way to open the scope to search the entire directory and sub-directories? Perhaps this wouldn't be implemented into your official workflow, but any tips on opening it open and tweaking it myself to use in my specific workflow?
  2. This is such a useful workflow. I've been looking for a replacement for Last changed Files. Whe I updated my OS, PHP was blocked and the workflow no longer worked, sadly. The biggest missing piece for me being able to use this workflow is the ability to include the contents of subfolders within directories. I frequently save files in various folders within my documents folder, and those are not visible in the current configuration. I there any way to open up the scope to allow for contents of folders within listed directories? Many thanks!
  3. Thanks so much. Really helpful info. I actually have tried that workflow, and I needed to see within the smartfolder without having to open it in finder. This one seems to just show file actions when I tab into the folder and need to open in finder to see the details. I've been using https://www.alfredforum.com/topic/1715-find-files-recently-changed-similar-to-trickster-functionality/ which essentially uses a some terminal commands (/usr/bin/mdfind -onlyin ~/ '(kMDItemDateAdded >= \$time.now(-600000) || kMDItemContentModificationDate >= \$time.now(-600000))) to grab the most recent files. It does what I need, only sometimes takes a few seconds to update the list and can break flow. Not sure if the hangup is in running the results through the included workflow.php, or if it's elsewhere? Thanks again for your help!
  4. Hi, I'm trying to set up a file filter that uses kMDItemContentModificationDate and kMDItemDateAdded and, in my testing, I haven't been able to search via those fields. I used the alfred metadata tool to specifically test the exact dates stored the metadata fields to no success. Has anyone been able to do this? Am I missing something? Also, is there a way with the file filter to search all files (like a wildcard *)? I am trying to set up a filter to quickly look for all recent files. I tried a few workflows, but they take multiple seconds to process, and I'd love to just snag my last edited file really swiftly. Any help is appreciated!
  5. Thanks for the quick reply! So looking under the hood, the scripts included in the package seem harmless?
  6. Does this workflow seem to pose any threat? It's beyond my skill to know what I'm seeing. Any help would be most welcomed, as this is a GREAT looking workflow for writers. Thanks! Brian
