  1. I'm not saying the hotkey doesn't work. What I mean is that I prefer to have the hotkey action "pass through to workflow" rather than "show alfred" with text pre-populated. Since you have the hotkey already set in the script filter it works great just passing the hotkey to it. And rather than showing a normal Alfred prompt box with text it makes the workflow self-contained with that nice Evernote logo at the left like in my screenshot.
  2. One other little thing I noticed. If I go into tab search and start typing, the tag icon disappears and reverts back to the evernote icon.
  3. Wow this is a KILLER update. But I keep having to make one small tweak every time it's updated. I much prefer this: Because it make the workflow come up like this:
  4. Is it at all possible to add (or create a new workflow) that would allow me to imessage the current Chrome tab since they still haven't added that officially (like Safari has)? I can't figure it out because this workflow is based on bash script rather than applescript. I think you can to pull the current tab with: tell application "Google Chrome" get URL of active tab of first window end tell Any ideas?
  5. All - I saw this posted on Twitter and personally I like this solution a lot better than a Chrome workflow. It uses a utility called Brow to make Chrome and Firefox bookmarks searchable in Spotlight: http://blog.timschroeder.net/2013/04/15/Bring-Brow-to-Alfred/
  6. You probably just had to reset spotlight. Alfred uses that. And maybe reload Alfred's cache with the "reload" keyword. Glad it's working now :-)
  7. Yep. Works just fine. Is your bookmarks path in the location where the PHP script looks? It looks at ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks
  8. That looks like an issue with the original workflow. All I did to it is add a fallback option. I don't know enough about programming to know why it's not working.
  9. Ahhh good call. I don't know how that got deleted but it works now that I added that back. Thanks!
  10. I have Safari bookmarks turned on to show in default results but it's not even though it shows up in spotlight. I tried reloading the Alfred cache but that made no difference. Any ideas? http://cl.ly/image/1i2f2n1a253k http://cl.ly/image/3p001V102s2N
  11. Are you referring to the fallback option in particular? You have to actually add it as a fallback and then press enter to trigger the workflow like you normally would: http://cl.ly/image/250Y3U2E3v1x
  12. I'd like to use tab to bring up the actions menu but if I do that I no longer have a key to complete the query (i.e. start typing "Ama" and I'd press tab to finish the search and start typing my Amazon search). If I map the tab key to pull up actions is there any other key that will complete the query I've entered? I though the arrow key might do that but it doesn't seem to work. If it's not possible then I'll probably just keep the arrow key as the way to pull up the actions menu. I just figured I'd ask.
  13. Ohhh wait does this workflow require Word to be installed? I uninstalled it the other day and just have Pages now.
  14. This doesn't work for me at all. I tell it to convert a .doc file and alfred opens at the location the converted file should show up at but it never shows.
  15. Ya I think you're right. Works if I shorten a file name to one word.
16. I've tried this and while the different sharing options are available the file never attaches to the place I'm sharing to. See: http://cl.ly/image/3X3x0U1E2D1f http://cl.ly/image/2t1c3o1W0i0t I've tried with email, messages, and a few others. At first I didn't have terminal share installed but now I do and when I try it via command line it does the same thing. I can populate text, but not images or other attachments.
  17. I don't even see that entry anywhere in the file. I searched for 'title' and it returned nothing. Here's what I have on line 66 (do I have a different workflow installed??): http://cl.ly/image/3c390s1b0444
  18. I personally think you should revert the workflow to the matching algorithm it used before. I can't stand how matching works now. Anyways, I added in a fallback search option to the workflow if anyone is interested: http://cl.ly/1X1z1f211f1L
  19. We do have a static IP at the office here if that means anything...
  20. It's somewhat close. Shows the center of downtown Jacksonville, FL but I'm about 30 miles south of there... I'm guessing a Comcast building may be located there.
  21. The new version must be pulling the wrong location data. It's pouring outside and the iPhone app shows it is but the workflow says it's clear.
