Jb_Bryant reacted to Andrew in Alfred Not Searching Safari Bookmarks in High Sierra BETA [Fixed 3.5 b867 pre-release]
Quick update on this: I've nearly finished a new feature for the next release in which Alfred indexes the bookmarks rather than using macOS metadata. This has allowed me to add in indexing for Google Chrome too, plus adding additional nice features such as searching via folder name, host name and title.
I've also added the ability to open all bookmarks in the default browser, or the respective source browser.
I have other things to do for this release, but it shouldn't be too long until this is in pre-release.
I've unlocked this thread for comments, but please don't keep bumping it.
Cheers,
Andrew

Actually I did just find this workflow which is pretty nice - http://www.packal.org/workflow/relative-dates
I'll probably keep both around but that one is pretty great.

All - I saw this posted on Twitter and personally I like this solution a lot better than a Chrome workflow. It uses a utility called Brow to make Chrome and Firefox bookmarks searchable in Spotlight:

I personally think you should revert the workflow to the matching algorithm it used before. I can't stand how matching works now.
Anyways, I added in a fallback search option to the workflow if anyone is interested: http://cl.ly/1X1z1f211f1L

Jb_Bryant got a reaction from designjoe in Percentages in Alfred calculator
I think it'd be awesome to be able to calculate percentages in the built-in calculator.

I added what you want (hopefully). Set your hotkeys in the workflow like this:

You probably just had to reset spotlight. Alfred uses that. And maybe reload Alfred's cache with the "reload" keyword. Glad it's working now :-)

You can also reset the search scope as a easier way to enable your bookmarks.

It'd be awesome to be able to switch the restart command to not reopen applications at startup.
