With the cut off debugger, I don’t know what’s actually being passed along so there’s no way to help. You can send it via DM if you want. There won’t be any super-secret information in there, the workflow goes to great lengths to avoid that.
But before that, try :1pextras → Force Update Items to rebuild the cache and try again.Rebuilding the cache made it work again! How do we get this information more visible for people that potentially have the same issue? In the Configure Workflow part?
Thanks for this @vitor 🙏

Hi there, thanks for your work vitor.
Using v. 2023.11 I still have this issue: "grabbing the items is ok, but actioning an Alfred Result does nothing."

Hi there, I used to run the Evenote legacy version but have lately updated to the latest version. Is there a workflow that works on MacOS Ventura that would allow me to search through my notes via Alfred?
Thanks

Welcome @nilblank,
As per my comment above, follow the official guide and this will work again.
But for anyone looking to shorten URLs, you can do it easily and without code with Automation Tasks—in the URL Processing group there is one to shorten URLs.
Hey, just wanted to say that as you suggested and as a total noob I was able to create a URL Shortener using Automation Tasks. It took me a little bit of digging to get it to work but let's say I'm proud of myself haha.
Thanks for the suggestion
(If someone want's to create their own, just make sure you choose "Argument required" in the Keyword window)
1. In Alfred Preferences, go to the Workflows section
2. choose Create a new workflow
3. If not automatically opened, click on the top right hand colourful burger
4. Drop the Keyword object that they give in the text below and enter the text you want to use as a prompt. Choose "Argument required" to the right
5. In the Automation section, drag the Automation Task object to the board and double click it to open it.
6. Under URL processing, choose Shorten URL
7. In the Output section, choose Copy to clipboard.
8. Link the 3 objets Keyword -> Automation Task -> Copy to Clipboard
9. Success
To use it:
- copy a URL you want to shorten
- Invoque Alfre
- type in your prompt then space and paste your URL
- The shortened URL will be saved in your clipboard to be pasted.
Cheers,
Rad

1. Disable indexing
$ sudo mdutil -a -i off2. Enable again
$ sudo mdutil -a -i onThis helped me out, thank you!
And for noobs like me, open the Terminal app, and copy paste the first sudo line without the $ and enter. Then the same thing with the second line.
This will get Spotlight to re-index all files; Alfred uses its scope.
After the Terminal bit, invoque Spotlight with any search and you'll see how far along the indexing is at. Once it's finished, Alfred will also start showing the files you're looking for.

Is this Workflow still working? What is everyone using?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to understand whether there's a currently working Alfred workflow for Asana. Is there?
Even just a way to create a new task without being on Asana / Chrome?
Thanks! -
Hi @xilopaint and thank you for your amazing work. This might be a silly question but once I've used the Optimize function and enter entered a resolution, I don't see a new file created / the original file changed. What should I see?
Thanks!

@vitor @Pete BastilleThanks for this. What do you mean by "Add to the top of the Run Script: export PATH="/opt/homebrew/bin:/usr/local/bin:${PATH}" ? Could you clarify it? I've finished this part "Install PHP (brew install php)."
Thanks!

Thanks again @deanishe for your answer, everything is clear.
(Which makes me think of the name of this movie: "Everything Is Illuminated", you should watch it if you can, it's one of my favourite movie ever https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0404030/ )

ps I used to use Quiksilver and you could "upvote" or "downvote" a result to push it up or down. Am I correct in thinking there's no such thing in Alfred?

Thanks for your detailed answer.
10 hours ago, deanishe said:Alfred—or at least its File Filters—prioritises results based on (a) your previous behaviour and (b) how recently the file/folder was opened. So generally, opening the file/folder will push it upwards in(to) Alfred's results.
Do you mean simply by navigating the Finder x times to the Folder, Alfred learns that I want to go there over time? Any idea of how many times one should do this before it starts appearing?
Thanks for the sf workflow, didn't know about it

Hi there, at work we have a folders structure that goes something light that:
- PROJECT NAME
- PROJECT NAME CITY NAME1
- PROJECT NAME CITY NAME2
- PROJECT NAME CITY NAME3
- PROJECT NAME CITY NAME4
- Etc.
And file names work the same way.
That means we have many folders and files starting with the same name.
When I use Alfred to search for a folder or file and it doesn't appear in the results and it doesn't appear in the 40 results displayed, how do I push Alfred to find it and make it appear in future searches?
Thank you for your help, I love how I keep discovering new use for Alfred, time after time.

Hi there, I've been successfully using @vitor's workflow (thanks!) for a while. I just saw that now the same workflow appears in the Feature tab as "1Password 8 Integration". Should I install it there and remove the workflow? Should I leave it as is?
Thanks for your advise 🙏🏼
