I'm a new user and Alfred is not working for me. Perhaps I didn't specify the right settings: 1. Why is Alfred showing only Safari returns, and not any of my files? 2. Why doesn't Cmd +Q quit the app?

Is there some way to get Alfred's text box to open at eye level, the way Spotlight does? Right now, it pops open at the neck-craning top of my screen.
