Thanks! Yes, Smart Sync is enabled. But Alfred sometimes finds files that are "online only", and also sometimes fails to find files that are stored locally. I've been dealing with this issue for a couple of months now and I'm puzzled. Previously, Alfred was able to find any files in my Dropbox without an issue, even if they were not stored locally. I have coworkers whom I share this Dropbox account with and they use Smart Sync, and they are able to use Alfred to find files successfully. Both the local and the online only files can be found with Spotlight. I've uninstalled and deleted the contents of my Dropbox folder a handful of times using CleanMyMac, in hopes to get as clean of an uninstall as possible. Then, I reinstall DB and re-sync all of the files, to no success. I've also tried rebuilding MacOS metadata many times to the same result.

I am experiencing this same issue. I used to be able to search for files in my Dropbox with Alfred, but now the search only returns with successful results sometimes. The Dropbox folder is added to the search scope. Spotlight is able to find my files without a problem.
