I have had the same issue but it happened while I was using the laptop. Current have set it to double tap command key. Restarting the laptop and/or Alfred then trying to reset the hot key does not seem to fix the issue. I have also tried to alter spotlight hotkeys but that also does not fix the issue. Hopefully the devs get it fixed soon.
