You are a king! I simply imported it in alfred and tried copy pasting a segment but it didn't seem to work. Do I have to assign it to a hotkey?

When I copy and paste from iBooks into my note-taking app (Notion), it always comes with citations "Excerpt from..." with quotation marks around the whole thing. It gets very tedious. Can someone please tell how I can simply ⌘C and ⌘V without the extras? I think I'm looking for a script that removes the quotation marks and the last line and I suppose hold it in the clipboard until I ⌘V. I'm not sure. I would be super grateful if you could tell me what I should learn to be able to figure this out.
