  1. F-ing awesome! Looking forward to the updates you have planned. Saving light-states as presets will be a great feature. I'd also like to see an "All" option under "Hue Lights". That way colors/brightnesses/etc. can be applied to all lights at once or individual lights.

    Keep up the good work!

  2. If someone knows how to make this, please help me out.

I'd like to see a workflow where I can type

    "r/aww"

and then press enter, and it will take me to

    http://www.reddit.com/r/aww

So typing "r/" would trigger something, then, without having to type a space or press enter or anything, continue typing the subreddit you want to go to. Also as you're typing the name of the subreddit, the list starts populating with suggestions for the names of the subreddits. That way when typing "r/ffff"etc..., I don't have to get it just right, with all 7 f's and 12 u's.

    Any takers?

  3. This workflow will probably be significantly more difficult than my last request... but seeing as Philips recently released a free public API for its Hue lights, I figured it couldnt hurt to ask...

I think it would be great to have a workflow that, after typing in the keyword "hue" would present a list in the alfred window of your hue scene presets. Then you could pick a scene to be set, and that would trigger the hue lights to change to that scene. Again, I would do this myself if I knew how, but I don't. (I've started taking some codeacademy courses, its a first step lol)

Anyone want to take up this project?

  4. Hey guys, just wondering what it is about imgur that makes it (seemingly) people's image sharing site of choice (vs ImageShack or whatever else)? I'm not a heavy user of any of them, so just wondering what makes imgur stand out from the pack.

For me its about how simple and basic it is. Nothing too flashy and fancy. It hosts my images, and thats all. No resizing, thumbnails, etc. And it gets the job done.

  5. I didn’t know imgur until the request and it is a very interesting and easy to use image service.

Its also great because you don't have to create an account and save/categorize your uploaded images. For those kinds of instances I would use dropbox or something like that. When I just want to upload a quick screen capture to someone or an image to post to a forum, but that I dont necessarily ever want to think about or interact with again, imgur is where I turn.

  6. I have no idea how to even go about starting to write the scripts necessary to do this, but if someone else could, that would be awesome.

Id really like a workflow that would upload the currently selected Finder image file to the Imgur hosting service, and then copy the url for that uploaded image to the clipboard. Possibly an additional function could be alt+enter would not only copy that url to the clipboard but also open the url in your default browser.
