First of all, brilliant workflow. Tremendously useful.
I think I've come across two bugs:
1. Title case conversions do not work correctly when starting with UPPER CASE TEXT.
When I paste in a lower-case line of text, conversion to title case works fine.
When I paste in an upper-case line of text, it only converts the first word to title case, leaving the rest of the sentence capitalized.
2. The sentence case doesn't seem to recognize that the pronoun i should be capitalized.

I'm getting the same window open as you screenshotted with your release where it says "try again" from my last command, but doesn't actually pass on the new alfred query text.
-
I haven't had success with cloudmounter as of yet (as much as I would prefer it!), but I know that alfred is able to index the non-synced files with google file stream, so I don't see why it shouldn't be able to work similarly with cloudmounter.

It should pop up if you select one of the options (like upcoming reminders for example). If that doesn't work, try opening the workflow folder in terminal and running `./reminders-helper` and see if that triggers it.
thanks!

I'm not getting it to show up in security & privacy. Tried removing and re-adding the workflow, closed and re-opened alfred. Any tips?

I've run into this too. The only solution I've been able to come up with is chaseapp. It sucks having to outsource with yet another third party searchbar, but it works phenomenally with multiple accounts too for this specific thing.

Precisely. It’s also important to note this Workflow started as a way to scratch someone else’s itch. It’s a free plugin built to fit the paradigms and capabilities of its host tool (Alfred), while Pastebot is a full-fledged standalone commercial app.
Yeah, I get that. And this workflow basically covers that one feature which is all I was looking for anyway. Much appreciated!

No. The whole point is that you don’t have to care when you copied something; that way you can paste ad-infinitum. If you know you’re going to paste a set of stuff in a certain order, copy them in reverse.
That's what I figured. I'm just used to seeing the option in pastebot I guess.
Shift tabbing backward through cells isn't too rough and I imagine that could be tricky to configure since you would have to have a trigger shortcut to tell it to start counting a forward copy sequence.

Haha, and just like that, it works like a charm! Thanks for the explanation.
Though, it seems to be pasting in reverse sequence to the most recent copies with cmd+c. So when I copy test 1, test 2, test 3, it pastes test 3, test 2, test 1.
Is there a way to have it paste in the same sequence copied within the last x amount of time like pastebot?

How's this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1isBWphn2P7cfPlfb05vstbCq43Xpiol5/view?usp=sharing
Maybe I just don't know how to use it properly, but I'm completely confused. I'm expecting control+option+c to copy and append. I'm expecting control+option+v to paste in the same sequence. Thanks for the ongoing feedback.

When debugging, never say “latest” but always the exact version. With “latest” I don’t know if you mean the latest beta or stable version, nor do I know if you’re really on the newest version. You may think you’re up to date but be mistaken, or might be a version behind because the auto-update hasn’t kicked yet, or I may be on what I think is the latest version but isn’t, or a multitude of other reasons. “Latest” also makes it difficult for people who face the same issue later on and find the conversation, as they’ll have no idea if their version matches the one in the report.
Either way, everything looks fine from your debug log and the Workflow is too simple to be messing anything up in the way you describe. The problem could be somewhere in how Alfred handles {clipboard}, but I seriously doubt it. I could ask you to share your Clipboard data, but I don’t want access to any private information.
In the other post you mentioned:But that’s not necessarily wrong. It just means the data you had at that point was an image in your clipboard.
It’s more likely that you’re not understanding why something was picked than the order having been randomised.
You’re the only one experiencing this issue, so I recommend you look closely at your Alfred clipboard history and compare it with the results of the Workflow. This does not seem to be a bug.
Yeah, it does seem unusual. Here's a video clip of what's happening: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ipy1--C0xPkvWFHX5dffajQdbpD-B6Zt/view

Using 20.4 on Alfred 4.3.4 [1229] on the latest MacOS does not work for me even after disabling other workflows I thought might interfere.
The copy shortcut results in a randomized paste.

Boolean Search?
in Discussion & Help
Posted
I recently started using Devonthink and their desktop search app EasyFind. As a result, I have become aware of the incredible time-saving opportunity boolean search functions like AND, OR, NOT, and NEAR/# and wildcards represent for file and especially file content search. A single, slightly more advanced search term can encapsulate in one search what would otherwise require multiple search attempts while eliminating undesirable results.
This has enabled me to more than quadruple the speed at which I can find sources during research, and especially content within those sources. This would uniquely benefit Alfred since the results dropdown is not designed for displaying more than a few results before you have to scroll a lot.
Two questions:
1. Is there any way to facilitate boolean searches and wildcards in Alfred for files?
2. Is there any way to extend this to searching file contents using boolean logic and wildcards as well? (I'm aware of the inside file search feature already, but this is relatively basic).
Searching file tags with boolean functionality would be a nice extension of the above, but secondary in practicality.
