On that machine, I can't arrow around the results. It just moves the cursor though the typed string. I've removed the app from accessibility and added it back, twice.

HI, Not sure if you are still monitoring this topic or not. I'm having a few little issues. First some specs: Alfred 4.3.4 M1 Mac Mini macOS 11.2.3 GIF Search v0.3.5 I get search results and I can act on them, however, I'm having two issues. The window resizes strangely. It behave as expected when using a duplicate of a default theme (as shown in this thread) but it doesn't work with my custom theme or a duplicate of the custom theme. It's slightly hard to tell in the screenshot, but the window expands past the normal window size. The other issue I'm having is that when I command-return to copy and then paste into Messages, it pastes the generic file thumbnail and not the actual GIF. If I try to send it, it doesn't actually go through at all. It behaves as if it sends but the other person doesn't see it. Dragging from Alfred into Messages works. If I can provide anything else that is helpful, let me know. Thanks!

Long dead thread but I'm wondering if anyone has this working on Catalina and Big Sur? Perhaps this is an issue connecting to Airplay speakers but it does work with a different workflow. I would just prefer to be able to use a hotkey to set the output specifically. I get the notification as if it's completed the script but the output source doesn't actually change. I've tried both the packaged workflow that @ssent1 provided as well as the updated script from @morgdaddy Edit: it also seems to be playing/pausing Apple Music.

I was just working with Carlo-Sz on his evernote workflow and he sent me a beta version that now works. I added my home folder to the search scope and reverted to his old workflow and it still doesn't work. He said the workflow was having trouble recognizing my home folder as my home folder. I've had other devs tweak their workflows to make them work but it seems like there's maybe something I can do so I don't have to keep hassling them.

I have a solid state drive for my startup disk and a traditional drive for my home folder. I run into a lot of workflows that don't work for me. Especially workflows that involve searching something. Does this sound like a likely culprit for my issues? If so is there anything I can do on my end without contacting every workflow dev and asking them about a fix? Thanks

Search doesn't seem to work for me. I have had a lot of workflow issues with Alfred 2 and other workflows. I'm wondering if its because I have two internal drives and my home folder is stored on one and my startup disk is another. Does this sound possible?

When I search using my fallback search (through google) it launches a new tab with the search results as expected but if I click on a link I don't have the option to go back to the search results. This is happening in Safari but not in Chrome. Is this something Alfred is doing somehow or is it a problem with Safari? If I do a normal search in Safari's omnibar and click a link it lets me go back which leads me to believe it has something to do with the Alfred. I'm running the current version of Safari and Chrome and v2.0.3 (187) of Alfred.

Would it be possible to modify this so that you can choose between iTunes and Rdio (or Spotify) depending on what you're listening to at the time?

I don't even have the tylereich.wolframalpha folder. Even after deleting and reinstalling the workflow. When I log into the wolfram alpha dev site it says that there has been 4 queries on my appid. Odd. I'm not sure if this will help but it's caused a couple other Alfred related issues for me so far. My startup disk is on different drive than my home folder. Both internal drives but one SSD, one traditional.

Doesn't seem to work for me. I assigned each under the 'Custom Actions' area. One for 'Name' and one for 'Phone' and the phone one does nothing and the name one just opens Contacts.

I can't get this to work. I enter my AppID, alfred tells me it's saved and then when I invoke the command it keeps telling me to provide an appID. It's been this way for a couple days now so it doesn't seem to be an issue waiting for something on WA's end. Any ideas?

Maybe I'm blind and this is built into alfred somewhere but, is there a way to search through Calendar in Alfred? If not is that a workflow that could be built?

Ah ok. I was missing the // on my custom action. The problem I'm finding now is that if the phone number isn't formatted correctly in Contacts it won't create message to the right number. I guess I'll just have to reformat all my numbers. Thanks

Not working for me either. I just get this message: "You cannot control your computer if you turn Bluetooth off at this time as you would lose your input devices."

I know there is a way to tell Alfred to "pass to URL scheme" so I set that to "imessage:" but it just brings Messages to the front and doesn't open a new message to that person (not to mention its slow to drill down to find the number) Then I made a custom search URL with imessage:{query} which works but you have to actually to have people's numbers memorized and who does that anymore?! Would it be possible to have a workflow where you type a keyword and then a name and it will autocomplete numbers as you type? Seems like something that could be possible but I know next to nothing about scripts

How tricky would it be to add the ability to search for an artist/track/album/whatever and have it display that item in Rdio instead of playing it? Or possibly adding it to the queue instead of playing immediately. Maybe both with a modifier key? Are these things technically possible and if so is it something I could just add myself? I am unable to rename iTunes either through the Finder or the Get Info window. I don't know if this helps but my startup disk is on a solid state and my User directory is on a different drive. Alfred 1 can still find all of these things normally.

I spoke too soon. It doesn't find Chrome. It only found Chrome because it was running I guess. Edit: Now it find iTunes for some reason. It's not running. It's acting very strange. Finding things, then not finding them, then finding them again.
