rubzie reacted to Brandon Lipman in Alfred Worflow Developer - Hiring
Have been a fan of Alfred for as long as I have had a Mac.

I am looking to build out a few custom workflows that will interact with web apps I use frequently and also files. Preferably I am looking to hire someone to custom build them.

    Herre is an example workflow:
When a given website is on screen and in focus in the browser give options based on that tool. The idea is to create make Alfred almost like Superhuman's command K interface for other apps. Simple example, assign a task in asana or create a new task.

Again I really want to pay someone todo this. I am technical in nature and readily familiar with the APIs that would be used.

I'm trying to make a workflow so that I can add tasks to Asana.

I had one before but not now I have Alfred 4 it doesn't work.

I found another thread on the subject, but I couldn't get the workflow to work and I didn't get a response in the thread.

If anyone could either tell me how to do it, or point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    OK, clear, thanks Andrew!

Maybe in the future it would make sense to just let the user explicitly choose this on importing (and maybe showing him which shortcut keys will be created and if there are any conflicts?)

Thanks emb! For those not entirely clear on this, you can now find your "API Key" as needed in QuickTask for the akey command by going in Asana to My Profile Settings, then Apps, then Manage Developer Apps, and there choose Create New Personal Access Token.
