  1. This is exactly what was happening. If iTunes isn't running and I start it with my Miniplayer shortcut (option-space) it asks for the library. I'll change this. Any plans to make Alfred read the iTunes music library files directly, without having to start iTunes? On a laptop it would be great to be able to play some tunes directly without the constant background overhead that iTunes produces. Thank you, AOC
  2. Hello, I've been using Alfred v2 in the past weeks, and upgraded to the powerpack. I have had a few odd things occur that I searched for and couldn't find mention of, so I'll list them here. First, I use the Miniplayer for iTunes quite a bit. However, often times after quitting iTunes to restart, the next time iTunes opens it cannot find its own library. It offers a dialogue to select the library. This had never happened before I started using Alfred. If I start the Miniplayer first, it will search through songs, but when selected the song never plays; if I switch applications to iTunes, it is sitting there with the 'select library' dialogue showing Second, I have a playlist called "Playlist X" and when i search for it in the miniplayer, it shows up twice. On first boot, selecting the first will not do anything, but after selecting the second one and playing the songs, later selecting either will start the playlist; why are there two copies? I have iTunes Match if that is a possibility. I have searched iTunes, there is only one copy of the playlist, and I have reset and reloaded iTunes data from the preferences (as well as command-R). I use Dwarf Therapist for the game Dwarf Fortress quite often; it requests administrator privs upon opening since it accesses memory. If I launch DT by spotlight, the privilege dialogue is greyed out and I have to select it. When I open DT through Alfred, the dialogue is selected already and I can just type in the password (huge win!), however, the program is mildly corrupt upon opening. I have to delete the settings file, then open it again. This sounds like a DT problem, but if I open it with a double click or with Spotlight, no corruption occurs (but it sort of starts in the background, and the privs dialogue is greyed). Does Alfred open applications in some other mode, or...? Wonderful application, thanks for the great work. I hope these issues help you iron out v2. I'm looking forward to more tutorials and videos, as I'm sure I'm missing out on lots of functionality. AOC
