  1. When I type "preferences" into Alfred I expect Alfred preferences to be on top rather than system settings. I know its called System Preferences before macOS 13 but it shouldn't show up on macOS 13 onwards.
  2. I binded CTRL J and CTRL K to the down and up arrow keys respectively using Karabiner Elements, but when I use those keys in Alfred search results they show file options for the selected instead.
  3. OK I got it. It didn't show up at the top when I wrote "Reload" but it was actually at the bottom of the list for some reason. Anyway, that worked and how it shows up at the top when I type "Reload"
  4. I also tried adding the folder to the exclude list in macos Settings > Siri & Spotlight > Spotlight Privacy.
  5. If you type in a phrase in other apps and scroll, its smooth, you can have a scroll position where it partially scrolls down an item. When doing so it alfred, it scrolls down a whole item and it looks clunky.
  6. I'm trying to ignore the folder "/Users/oneechan/Applications (Parallels)". I looked up other help posts and write the following: Adding the comment about:ignore in Finder by selecting the file > get info. Trying the ignore in Alfred workflow: https://www.alfredforum.com/topic/18796-ignore-in-alfred-—-exclude-files-and-folders-from-alfred’s-search-results/ Trying the command described here: https://www.alfredforum.com/topic/17587-alfredignore-no-longer-working/?do=findComment&comment=90903, and getting the following error message: sudo osxmetadata --set com.apple.metadata:kMDItemFinderComment 'alfred:ignore' -- "/Users/oneechan/Applications (Parallels)" Invalid attribute name: com.apple.metadata:kMDItemFinderComment
  7. I had written another post about this which I deleted because I realized I hadn't phrased that well. I got it this time but I might as well clarify: I want to press CMD X to cut files in Finder and paste them in another folder within Finder pressing CMD V, and I'm wondering if Alfred would somehow allow me to do so.
  8. I had wrote another post trying to ask the question but I didn't phrase it well and deleted it.
  9. I know this is necroposting but can someone walk me through step by step to make the script work in Alfre
