  1. So, you're saying that the drawer list only shows a subset of the items that should be in there? Can you check that the files are there if you look in the DeskDrawer folder directly? (Cmd-Select an item to "Reveal in DeskDrawer folder").

And did you move them from your desktop using the "sweep" command, or using the "Move to DeskDrawer" file action?

I used the sweep command. When I look directly into the DeskDrawer's folder, everything's here.

I also tried to set a new location for the DD's folder but there's the same issue

  2. I was looking for exactly the same thing yesterday and apparently it's not possible yet.

However since the lastest build you can pop Alfred with a predefined word by using an Applescript :

    on alfred_script(q)
tell application "Alfred 2" to search "translate "
    end alfred_script

But there's no effect if you choose an hotkey with "Selected text in OSX"; in this case only "translate " will be written.

  3. You should improve from time to time this workflow, there's potential and this is really cool and useful to check news really quickly ! :D

I've a question but I already know the answer I guess : Is it possible to script something that will open an object in the backgroud without quit Alfred ?
