  1. @vitor I dont know, I haven't built a workflow before (though I made some attempts for this specifically). I was hoping I overlooked a simpler built-in solution or a popular existing plugin. Seems like the kind of thing anyone would want. I thought of a workaround, but it's pretty awkward, and that is to save .inetloc files and use alfred default results to surface them.
  2. I have a list of links to all of my favorite places in various apps (not web URLs). Obsidian, Notion, OmniFocus… I would like a way to quickly save them in Alfred, and then quickly retrieve and open them. Much like the built in “URLs / history”, but with an ability to name the urls. Because often they are not at all descriptive of the content. Ive seen solutions to create a separate workflow for each, but that sounds like a lot of effort for what Im looking for which is basically like “favoriting” a link, like you would in safari. Is there a simple way to do this? Even better: to do it in the default search?
  3. @politicusdid you ever get this resolved? I too just want to add urls to alfred and have them appear in default search
  4. This isn't working for me. I did a migration from a 2020 intel Mac to an M1, both running monterey. Alfred was one of the few apps that didn't migrate seemlessly. Updated powerpack, but importing the old Alfred.alfredpreferences seems to have no effect on the new system CORRECTION: SOME settings transfered, but not most. Not the custom color, or hotkey, or excluded files list for example
  5. Seems like a simple enough question. I'm curious too! Quotes don't seem to help me narrow down my in-file searches.
  6. Works great, thanks for sharing. Wish there was a "limit to past 3 months" option. Safari 16 only has options to auto-delete older than 1 year, or 1 month.
  7. The default keyword of "bm" does not require me to hit enter. I type "bm" "space" and then what I'm looking for and it will only show bookmarks. If I change the default keyword to "b", for example, I have to type "b" "ENTER" "space" and then my search if I want it to only show bookmarks. "g" is what i assigned to google search. Sorry, i forgot it was a custom keyword. In that example, I don't have to hit enter.
  8. Ok this is very minor but... I can use a custom keyword like "b" but have to then push enter before continuing to type my search term. The default keyword "bm" (and keywords for other types of searches) don't behave this way, they only require the space. (Example, "g"+"space"+"search term" searches google) Is that expected? If I want Bookmarks to behave like other searches (not requiring enter key), do I have to use "bm"?
  9. @AndrewYes it seems to be working now. I think it's like you were saying, I had to actually trigger the search on a bookmark to get it to stick.
  10. Catalina 10.15.7. Just updated Alfred 4.6.1 but I think I've always had this problem. If I set keyword as 'b' or 'bm' or 'bo', it just treats it like a regular search. When I change it to 'bok' or 'bmm' it works as expected. See screen shots. I have already removed and reapplied full disk access. And yes I did hit spacebar after typing 'bm'
