  1. Oh, I didn't even know about the other workflow in the first place! I could've searched for it before making the workflow, but I made this workflow primarily for my self (before even thinking about posting it here), and posted it just in case it's useful for others too
  2. Last Downloads makes it easy to get a list of the last 3 downloaded files on your Mac. You can open the selected file in the default application for that kind of files by pressing enter. By pressing Command+Enter you'll reveal the file in Finder instead, and Shift+Enter will move the file to the trash. Activate with the following keyword: lastfile Enter the keyword in Alfred (lastfile) Select the file you'd like to use Press Enter to open the file, Command+Enter to reveal the file in Finder, or Shift+Enter to move the file to the trash. Download Last Downloads
  3. Glad you liked it! Don't hesitate to comment if you got any requests for a future update
  4. myrison - I could make a version for you with these options, but I don't think I'll implement it in the official version because the setup would be too cluttered in my opinion. I'll make a special version for you, and post it when it finished Here's a new version with support for choosing between the first 9 tabs in Chrome/Safari with a shortcut. Download BrowserTabs (with support for choosing tabs by number)
  5. Thanks! It seems to be no way to grab the url in Firefox?
  6. New version and new name in this thread! What's new? New name: Markdown Help Not dependent of iA Writer anymore! The new workflow uses the frontmost application instead. The first time, and only the first time, you run the new workflow, you get to choose between Safari and Google Chrome as the default browser to grab the URL from. This is easy to reset later by using the following keywords (without the quotes, of course): "markurl reset" You can download the new version directly here, but it's recommended to follow the link to the new thread instead.
  7. New version (1.23): New features copy the URL of the frontmost tab of Safari/Chrome to the cliplboard copy the URL and title of the frontmost tab of Safari/Chrome to the clipboard Download
  8. New version (1.22): New feature - close all other tabs in Google Chrome (with a keyboard shortcut) Download
  9. This is a new version continuation of my workflow 'iA Writer Markdown', but it works with any markdown application you are using instead of only iA Writer + some other changes. This workflow can be used to do 2 things in any markdown application: Grabs the URL from either Safari or Google Chrome, and uses it to format a markdown link on selected text in any markdown application. Grabs an image URL from the clipboard, and uses it to format a markdown image in any application (uses the frontmost application). How to use the workflow - TEXT LINKS: The first time you use the workflow you have to choose between 2 browser - Google Chrome or Safari. It'll be remembered by the workflow for later use, so you won't have to do this each time you use it. To reset the choice of browser, use the following keywords in Alfred: markurl reset When the setup is done you can follow the instruction in the image below. How to use the workflow - INSERT IMAGE: To format an image you have to copy an image adress to the clipboard before you use the workflow. Use the following keyword to format/insert the image: img If you want to control the width of the image, add it behind the 'img' keyword (like the image below). Download Markdown Help 1.0
  10. Could someone please help by testing this new version? This version chooses the frontmost application as the markdown application to insert the text link / image in. Keyword: markurl The first time you run the workflow, you'll choose between Google Chrome and Safari as the browser to grab the URL from, it should be remembered. If you want to reset the browser choice - use the following keywords: markurl reset
  11. LeChuck: Re-download and reinstall the workflow, I've updated the workflow and added the option to open the Application Support folders at the following locations in Finder: ~/Library/Application Support/ (keywords open: appsup user) /Mac HD/Library/Application Support/ (keywords to open: appsup hd) If you'd like to open these folders, use the keyword 'appsup' instead of 'library' appsup user (opens the Application Support folder in the user library folder) appsup hd (opens the Application Support folder in the root library folder) It's also possible to add your own shortcuts.
  12. This workflow makes PopClip appear when pressing a keyboard shortcut. PopClip won't usually appear if the user uses the keyboard to select text, with this shortcut it will. Very simple workflow with only one line of AppleScript, but it does the job. Download workflow!
  13. Please redownload the workflow, and try again! I've changed the script a little - it should work now! What about the plist search? Is it working like it should?
  14. New update: Open Library Folders 1.01 New functionality: Plist Search: searches all Library folders on your Mac for for plist-files, and then reveals the plist file in Finder when pressing enter. Press the right arrow to get more options on what to do with the selected plist file - delete, copy, open with application, copy to clipboard, etc. How to use: Use the keyword plist to search for plist files.
  15. !!! Follow this link to the newest version instead - this version supports both Safari and Chrome, and any markdown application you "throw at it". Hi, If you download this workflow, it grabs the URL from Chrome instead of Safari. But you have to add the name of the application in the Applescript codes. If you open the workflow after adding it (the new one) in Alfred, and then open the the top AppleScript (marked as number 1 in the image below). Then you'll change the following text (marked in the image below) to the name of the Markdown application you would like to use: Markdown Application After that you open the second Applescript (number 2 in the first image in this post), and add the name of your Markdown application here too: Hope that helps, just ask me for help if it doesn't. I'll most likely update this app in the future to accept more MarkDown Apps and browsers. Maybe the best way to do this is to change the workflow to use the frontmost application instead of a hardcoded app name - I'll implement it later

  20. There's 3 different Library folders in Mac OS X - with this workflow it's easier than ever to open them individually! The Library Folder in your user folder: Use the following keywords to open the library folder in your user folder: library user The Library Folder in the System folder: Use the following keywords to open the library folder in your System folder: library system The Library folder in the root folder of your system drive: Use the following keywords to open the library folder in the root folder of your system drive: library hd Keyboard shortcuts? If you want to use them instead of the keyword - it's very easy to setup! In the Alfred Preferences you choose this workflow, and setup a shortcut for each of the three Library folders (hd, system and user). Download Open Library Folders 1.0 Download Open LIbrary Folders 1.01 Download Open LIbrary Folders 1.02 New functionality in version 1.01: Plist Search Use the keyword 'plist' and start searching for plist-files from the Library folders.
