Success! The delay actually can feel quite a bit long (sometimes) when turning airplay on, but it works like a charm. Turning airplay off is totally seamless.

Thanks Mac. Really a terrific workflow and script.

As a new Mac owner, and a complete novice in Alfred, THIS workflow gets a ton of use from me.  Thanks for this!

    Hi,

Thanks for this workflow! Really useful and saving me at least 20-30 minutes of time per week!

I actually duplicated the workflow to do the similar for my desktop. Simply in the Apple Script change
    (path to download folder) to
    (path to Desktop Folder)

This is a bug in PopClip that was introduced in PopClip 1.5. Sorry!

It will be fixed in the next PopClip update (1.5.2).

In the mean time you can get a beta version of PopClip with the fix; just follow the beta link off the PopClip Downloads page.

This workflow makes PopClip appear when pressing a keyboard shortcut.

PopClip won't usually appear if the user uses the keyboard to select text, with this shortcut it will.

Very simple workflow with only one line of AppleScript, but it does the job.

This is a workflow based on the "Search and Share on Google+" workflow by the user Chris on this forum.

The only flaw in this workflow is that it doesn't grab the URL from the browser automaticly, with this update/workflow it will.

To share a URL to Google+ with this workflow, you do the following:

Use the keyword 'gplus' and select 'Share a link on Google+' (or setup a keyboard shortcut) to activate the sharing of the URL from the frontmost tab in your browser.  If you'd like to add a comment - write it after a space between the gplus keyword and the comment you would like to write.

    Supported Browsers:

    Google Chrome Safari Firefox Opera
Creds go to Chris for this one!

Nice workflow, thank you for sharing!

Why not adding the capability to "hide all applications except the frontmost"?

EDIT: well, I just find out ⌘⌥H can do it.

There's 3 different Library folders in Mac OS X - with this workflow it's easier than ever to open them individually!

The Library Folder in your user folder:

Use the following keywords to open the library folder in your user folder: library user

The Library Folder in the System folder:

Use the following keywords to open the library folder in your System folder: library system

The Library folder in the root folder of your system drive:

Use the following keywords to open the library folder in the root folder of your system drive: library hd

Keyboard shortcuts? If you want to use them instead of the keyword - it's very easy to setup!

In the Alfred Preferences you choose this workflow, and setup a shortcut for each of the three Library folders (hd, system and user).

    Download Open LIbrary Folders 1.01

    Download Open LIbrary Folders 1.02

New functionality in version 1.01:  Plist Search

Use the keyword 'plist' and start searching for plist-files from the Library folders.

New functionality in version 1.02:  Make Library folder (~/Library/) visible in Finder (and hidden again of course).

To make the Library folder visible or hidden, use the following commands in Alfred:

    Visible: library visible
    Hidden: library hidden

Thanks a ton.  This is hugely useful for me (and hopefully a few other people as well).

Hopefully future googlers are able to find their way here.  I know from searching for a solution before coming here that there are at least a few people looking for this same implementation.

I'll post links where I can to provide more exposure to Alfred and your script MacGeeky.  Let me know if I can buy you a beer.

myrison - I could make a version for you with these options, but I don't think I'll implement it in the official version because the setup would be too cluttered in my opinion.

I'll make a special version for you, and post it when it finished

Here's a new version with support for choosing between the first 9 tabs in Chrome/Safari with a shortcut.

Thanks.  This is a great time-saver.

I copied the icon from the actual Library folder and replaced the icons that come with the workflow - the workflow icons had a white background, whereas the actual Library folder icon has a transparent bkgd. & looks much nicer with colored backgrounds in Alfred.

Helps a lot. Sometimes I want to keep some files for a day or so in the download folder but over the day it's a mess.
With your workflow I'm now well organized.
