  1. Is it possible to search in several folders in one search? In examples I see that only one folder is provided. I'm not sure that I need it, but asking out of curiosity.
  2. @Mr PennyworthThank you so much! It seems like what I was looking for many times! I'm not sure if it is worth point here, but help with installation notes looks like this now. Probably that was expected, as everything is readable there. But still.
  3. I found this topic via google. So in 2021 on Catalina, sometimes finder invoked by Alfred opens without sidebar and toolbar. Shortcut "control + command + T" (show/hide toolbar) restores sidebar.
  4. Hey @Asor_Da, did you try setting up and using shortcut in bear?
  5. Awesome that this workflow supports case-insensitive search for non-latin keyboard layouts! Thank you!
  6. Hey Guys!:) Could you, please, consider adding the shortcut to cycle through the history of alfred commands forth. I understand that there is only 20 commands in history, but still - I often find myself cycling through them and skipping occasionally the needed result for me, so I have to start for my search once again from the beginning. I'm talking about addition to this feature: https://www.alfredapp.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/quick-tip-view-your-recent-query-history/
  7. Hi there! Is it possible to add file to alfred buffer from finder. Ideally using file actions dialogue.
  8. @Andrew Thanks! I've updated, and I'm already testing it. It seems like it doesn't fall.
  9. And I just made Alfred quit once again using clipboard manager. On the second "load more" it exited
  10. I found this in system.log It seems like it was at the moment that I was writing in this post about. Is it it?
  11. Hello Vero and Andrew! Many times I faced an error using clipboard manager (if I go deeply into results) and using my workflow with file filter. The only thing I do is I use page down (fn + ↓) shortcut to look for next page results. Alfred quits without any notification. After I relaunch it, it works with the same query and page down shortcut without problems. So I don't know how to replicate the problem on your side:( But this problem happens to me twice a month, I think. Or even more often. My current version: Alfred 4.0.8 Build 1135, Friday 17th January 2020 Catalina 10.15.3 (19D76) But I had such a problem with previous builds and OSx versions. Is there any way to have a failure report from Alfred when it happens to me next time?
  12. @Acidham, thank you! I'm going to use it a lot!
  13. I wonder - is it possible for the workflow to open found notes in a new window?
  14. Thanks for the workflow! I use it all the time. The only problem for me that the search is case-sensitive when searching for notes in cyrrilic. So words Проблема and проблема - diffrent words. Is there any way to fix this behaviour?
  15. Nope! Now it works!!! Thank you!!! And sorry for absentmindedness
  16. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me: Starting debug for 'Search Notes.app' [2018-08-23 00:32:04][ERROR: input.scriptfilter] Code 1: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Users/uvaroff/Documents/! temp files archive/tempAlfred/Alfred.alfredpreferences/workflows/user.workflow.9E2B2CCF-C0BF-4FDA-9F5E-D44E798BA6C3/searchNotes.py", line 54, in <module> body = zlib.decompress(d[5], 16+zlib.MAX_WBITS).split('\x1a\x10', 1)[0] zlib.error: Error -3 while decompressing data: incorrect header check [2018-08-23 00:32:19][ERROR: input.scriptfilter] Code 1: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Users/uvaroff/Documents/! temp files archive/tempAlfred/Alfred.alfredpreferences/workflows/user.workflow.9E2B2CCF-C0BF-4FDA-9F5E-D44E798BA6C3/searchNotes.py", line 54, in <module> body = zlib.decompress(d[5], 16+zlib.MAX_WBITS).split('\x1a\x10', 1)[0] zlib.error: Error -3 while decompressing data: incorrect header check
  17. @sballin this is quite promising, thank you! But it didn't work for me. Could you be so kind as to take a look into debug and tell if I can repair it? Starting debug for 'Search Notes.app' [2018-07-26 11:03:14][ERROR: input.scriptfilter] Code 1: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Users/uvarofff/Documents/! temp files archive/tempAlfred/Alfred.alfredpreferences/workflows/user.workflow.9D0B4217-85AB-4197-8355-79D02FFA4F76/searchNotes.py", line 35, in <module> for m in matches] TypeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '__getitem__' [2018-07-26 11:03:16][ERROR: input.scriptfilter] Code 1: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Users/uvarofff/Documents/! temp files archive/tempAlfred/Alfred.alfredpreferences/workflows/user.workflow.9D0B4217-85AB-4197-8355-79D02FFA4F76/searchNotes.py", line 35, in <module> for m in matches] TypeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '__getitem__'
  18. I guess you can do it in spotlight settings. But I don't know what exactly you need to keep turned on.
  19. I was suffering a lot without this workflow. But after then I found that spotlight is usable for searching notes. This way might work for others like me, who never uses a built-in spotlight.
