Thanks, @Vero. Although, to be frank, it seems odd that the world's leading tech companies who provide cloud storage (Apple, Google) provide insufficient solutions to allow an app like Alfred to sync correctly. My password manager supports and works seamlessly using Google Drive. Android devices use Google Drive to backup WhatsApp messages as well. I'm sure there are many examples of software that successfully implement syncing using iCloud Drive and Google Drive.
I say this knowing that the investment in support for different syncing technologies is likely a significant overhead for a comparatively small (but excellent) product like Alfred. "Essential requirements" are definitely debatable in product design, and should be mediated by user needs and goals, where feasible.
Thanks again for chiming in!
