I love searching for files using Alfreds File Filter. In order to customize the results I am getting I would like to process the search results returned by the File Filter before showing them in Alfred as the search results. One use case would be to limit search results to files nested at max two levels deep in ~/Documents (e.g. ignoring "~/Documents/sample/folder/structure/file.txt"). Is there a way to search for files using a Script Filter in order to process the search results afterwards? I already tried using "mdfind", while this works it is unfortunately much slower than Alfreds File Filter. Does anyone know what the File Filter is using under the hood that makes is why faster than mdfind?
