  1. Hi all, Trying to achieve a workflow that appends text to filenames (and preferably also folder names) of the selected files (folders) in finder. But i'm somewhat stuck at the moment. It needs to do this: Need to add text to the end of filename but before the .file-extension → the orange part does this (only for files) but with fixed text Choose from a list of predefined text options (like the list filter?) Command+z option → when the choice of input was wrong I think the append to file block can't be used for this right? It adds text inside a file, right? Can't the chosen list filter input be sent to the script and use this to add that to the filename? Below the link to the workflow: https://we.tl/t-nLlXqsdyz4 Hope to find some helpfull tips here. Thanks in advance. vanWoods
  2. The original poster has updated the workflow! 😃 For who is interested, see the link to the updated workflow here.
  3. Hi, I was trying to figure out a way to execute/use indesign scripts through an Alfred workflow. I bumped into this handy workflow from joonaspaakko which does it all for AI and PS. I changed it for use with inDesign but I don't get it the same result yet. The workflow can search and find all the scripts in this scope: ~/Documents/Scripts/ID/1_SD_SCRIPTS/ and returns the scripts in alfred but don't execute them in InDesign and return this error. The scripts work fine from within InDesign itself, so nothing wrong with that. Do the scripts for InDesign have to be at their original place to work, can anybody confirm this? I changed the scope in the workflow to InDesigns original scripts location: ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 18.0/en_GB/Scripts/Scripts Panel/1_SD_SCRIPTS/but that gives no result when searching for scripts. I put this path in alfred search scope but with no result either... Is there a way to let Alfred see/access what's in this scope? ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 18.0/en_GB/Scripts/Scripts Panel/1_SD_SCRIPTS/ See my version of the workflow. Thanks in advance!
  4. That did the trick!! Thanks Vitor, have a good weekend!
  5. Unfortunately the hotkey is still not responding on a new user account. Tried other key combos but they are also not responding. The normal hotkey to activate Alfred works fine. Computer specs: MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021) Apple M1 Max I wonder if there is a fix somewhere?
  6. Hi Vitor, Thanks for your reply. There aren't any shortcuts conflicting. In Alfred version 4 there is no issue with this hotkey, it works perfect. Could it be something with the prefs or migrating from 4 to 5?
  7. Universal actions hotkey is not responding, tried several other key combos. * What you were doing when the issue happened Trying to file some stuff * Whether you were able to replicate it a second time by performing the same action Yes it is not responding * Include any screenshots that might help us * Include the Alfred version & build number you are using (don't say "latest" - you'll find a version number in the Update tab of Alfred's preferences) 5.0 [2064] * Include your macOS version 12.5
